Vyepti (eptinezumab) "My husband started suffering with a headache which led to migraines since 2018. He has had migraines off and on since he was a child, but when this one lasted over a month and we went to the hospital for a migraine cocktails 2 different times and they did work to help him sleep. We did Emgality and Aimovig both for approximately a year each, and they work about the same as Vyepti except, like all 3, they start to wear off a week before the next dose is due. This makes Vyepti a better choice because instead of every month, he gets a bad week with Vyepti. He gets 2 months and 3 weeks before he is bedridden again. Vyepti gives him a better quality of life. Please make this drug cheaper so we can continue this for my husband to have a better quality of life."

Vyepti (eptinezumab) "My migraines started in 5th grade. I struggled through them for years, being prescribed a variety of mostly ineffective medications. I am now 71 years old and for the last few years I've been under the care of a neurologist who is a headache specialist. Before other preventatives, she tried me on two other CGRP antagonists, with mixed results. She recently switched me to Vyepti. I was told that it might take 2-3 infusions to notice a difference, but some people get relief much sooner. It's been two weeks since my first 100mg Vyepti infusion, and no migraines! I was having about 15 migraines per month before Vyepti, so this is like a miracle for me. I doubt that this is a coincidence. And no side effects."

Vyepti (eptinezumab) "I have been on Vyepti (300mg every 3 months) for over a year and it's the only thing that has helped me in the last 8 years. My migraines are reduced by 90% until the last two weeks of the medication, and my daily headache pain goes from a 9 to a 5, which is a huge difference. I get the runny nose side effect for about a day after the infusion, but other than that, no side effects! I recommend trying it for those who have tried 50 other things."

Vyepti (eptinezumab) "The infusion process was simple and comfortable, no noticeable side effects after administration. This was my first dose (100 mg) and after 10 weeks, I have not seen any reduction in migraine frequency yet. I'm hopeful that my second dose, or maybe a dosage increase to 300 mg, will yield better results. Fingers crossed, as I have tried almost every other option."

Vyepti (eptinezumab) "I’ve had migraines since I was 16 and am now 46. Vyepti is the only preventive medicine that has ever worked for me. I just had my 2nd dose. Only had 3-4 migraines since receiving my first infusion, and my Imitrex took care of those much faster than normal; they didn’t end up lasting 3+ days. It’s been absolutely life-changing. No noticeable side effects—think my weight gain has much more to do with me than my Vyepti."

"I took my first dose in August 2021 and had no side effects. I took the Pfizer COVID vaccine on September 3 and I started to have nausea. I thought it was due to the vaccine but a week before I was due for my second round of Vyepti, the nausea went away. I took the second dose and the nausea returned. A week before the third dose was due, the nausea went away. Therefore, I decided to go back on Emgality. Within a few days of taking the Emgality, the nausea returned. Prior to August 2021, I took Emagality for nearly a year with no side effects. My doctor and I think that it is possible that the COVID vaccine and this class of medication do not mix. I have been on this class of medication since December 2019 whether it was Amovig, Emgality or Ajovy & did not have any nausea until I took the vaccine. I did have a significant amount of weight gain but thought it was from taking another medication. Recently, I have been reading that others have gained weight on Emgality so I have to wonder."

Vyepti (eptinezumab) "I am absolutely amazed at the results of this medication. I have had migraine headaches for most of my life, since I was 8 yrs old. I had a head injury and I have had horrible headaches since. I have taken almost everything on the market for them: Imitrex, the 'Triptans', Aimovig, most of the relief meds, the vitamin supplements, the natural route... everything. I mean I literally have tried it all. This has made an amazing difference in my life. To wake up & actually NOT have a headache is absolutely wonderful. I hadn't known that life in so long, I cried when it happened. I am on 300 mg now as the starting dose helped but didn't work long. Now I only get a headache when it's the week of my infusion, which is amazing. I will definitely take that compared to what I had before. I also use Nurtec as my relief med, which the combination is completely unmatched. I am so grateful for this new medication."

Vyepti (eptinezumab) "During my second infusion that was 300mg, I got a migraine. During my first 3 months of 100mg I saw improvement in weather-related triggers and odors. But I was more light sensitive, especially to the TV. My doctor gave me Ajovy samples to supplement the Vyepti unit I could go to 300mg."
