For Anemia Due to Chronic Kidney Disease "Retacrit did work every time I used it. I had to use it for three instances of low hemoglobin. I received the shot once a week for low hemoglobin. It took three to four weeks every time I needed to raise my hemoglobin to 11 or higher. The shot does make me very tired for the rest of the day of the shot."
