Vaniqa (eflornithine) for Hirsutism "I am 86 years old and have been using Vaniqa for one year with excellent results and no bad side effects. Prior to this, I had electrolysis treatments every 2 - 3 weeks for over two years with no end in sight. My excess hair problem is on the upper lip and chin area and though my electrolysist was well certified, the problem persisted (although treatments in my early 30's had been successful). I strongly encourage anyone considering this product to give it a try - it has changed/improved my life beyond measure."

Vaniqa (eflornithine) for Hirsutism "Great product. I saw results quickly and effectively, plus I had no horrible side effects. I’m extremely happy with the product, and I’ll keep using it. The setbacks are you will need a prescription, and it’s costly."

Vaniqa (eflornithine) for Hirsutism "I have suffered with excessive hair growth on my chin for more than 10 years, I was tweezing in the morning then by the end of the day I was having to tweeze again! I have tried all sorts of things to remove it in the past but nothing has worked. I started using this cream 4 weeks ago and after 2 weeks I was disappointed as I thought it was not doing anything but now after 4 weeks I have never felt so smooth, I am not plucking just the odd one or two, I’m excited to see what it will be like after the expected 8 weeks as I am so much happier already. This really is amazing and I have had no side effects. I bought the cream online as I have spoken to the doctors numerous times about it and they have never helped, but now I know this works I will try and get it from them in future. I really hope that if you try it you are as happy as me with the results :)"

Vaniqa (eflornithine) for Hirsutism "This was horrible. Had horrible side effects/burned my chin area. Did NOTHING!! I could and would have rather spent the money on multiple effective laser treatments. Very disappointed in money dropped on this worthless product! Literally been using it for months and NOTHING at all! In fact since using it I have noticed more hair! Beware of this no wonder product - doctors never recommend it!"

Vaniqa (eflornithine) for Hirsutism "I have suffered from hirsutism for years. I recently started on vaniqua 4 weeks ago and notice a huge difference around my chin and upper lip. But I have started developing acne as a side effect or is this folliculitis. Has anyone experienced this? And have any suggestions to help with the acne ( folliculitis) thank you!"

Vaniqa (eflornithine) for Hirsutism "I have been using Vaniqa for just over 4 weeks now. I was plucking my upper lip/chin/neck every single day. This was causing my skin in these areas to be red, irritated, and PIH on my upper lip. As you can imagine, my self-esteem was affected negatively. In the 4 weeks, I can see a major difference in not only the frequency of having to remove hair, but the hair itself. The hair comes in finer, lighter, and easier to remove. I now pluck once every 1-2 weeks. I use it with Meladerm on my upper lip for the hyperpigmentation. I have not noticed any scalp hair loss - the only side effect I have experienced is small acne in the area where I apply it, but that was only in the beginning. It works, you just have to be patient! The only reason I give it 8 stars is because of the price. It's not covered with my insurance. It's a shame that this company charges so much for a medicine that helps women seeking an answer for a very embarrassing condition when they are the only company to make it."
