"Before: All nails infected. 6/10 were completely white. Tried various stuff from the shelf @ London Drugs. Nothing helped. GP prescribed Jublia. 1.5 months in, and I'm 90% cured. I will continue as prescribed for 6 months, so it doesn't come back. Very happy with this application. Also: Bought brand new socks, wash my feet 3x daily with warm water and soap. Try to be barefoot every chance. Seems to be different ways working for each individual. Keep trying things and find what works for you! Stay consistent. Also: Blue Cross paid the majority: cost me about $20 a bottle. I live in Canada."

"Had toenail fungus for 17 years on all 10 toes, finally decided to do something about it. Knew it would be expensive. Used a coupon and insurance paid some, got it for $75.00 a month for 12 months. On month 7. 6 toes perfect. Big toes are 90% clear, and they were 95% infected when I started. Very happy. Takes awhile as have to clear and let grow back. Recommend cutting toe nails as much as possible to get in there. Keep cutting off bad parts."

"I bought it without a prescription. It dissolved my thumbnail, which came off completely. The area above the nail blistered, itched, and was heat sensitive. The nail grew back but came off again. Now a deformed, lumpy nail-like thing is growing back. I recently briefly treated the itchy area with tea tree oil and Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), and the itching stopped and the blister went away. It feels normal now but looks terrible."

"Used 2 bottles of Jublia. Seemed to be working. Then developed very bad side effects. 4 months have passed, and I still have the side effects with no improvement. Weeping blisters and rash. Also, was not told that it was to be used for 48 weeks."

"I had a fingernail infection called onycholysis, which is the separation of the fingernail and the nail bed, and chemical burns due to a nail salon using unsterile equipment. I went to my dermatologist, and she took a biopsy of my nails the same day she prescribed Jublia. She didn't even know I had a fungal infection! This medicine is for toenail fungal infections like onychomycosis ONLY!!! Not only did I have adverse reactions to this medicine, but I had to pay $3,200 for 3 bottles. I had burning, itching, swelling, blisters, and pain from using Jublia. It is NOT MEANT FOR FINGERS, and I contacted the manufacturer, who said it is NOT FDA APPROVED FOR FINGERS either. She is erroneously prescribing this topical solution to her patients and making their fingernail infections worse! I am going to file a complaint. I want my money back and compensation for my pain and suffering for this mistake that my doctor made!"

"I had fungus on my toenails for more than 30 years. Tried everything: laser treatment, tea tree oil, oral medication, which damaged my liver function. The best is Jublia, I have used it for 7 months. 7 out of 10 nails are back to normal. Only 3 more left have been completely cured. What an amazing, effective product! Only things I didn’t like: it’s a bit expensive and takes a while to see the results! Thanks, Jublia!"

"Used the product as directed, and it does not work, period! There isn't any change at all in the condition of my pinky toenail. Total waste of a $50 co-pay. And my dermatology office sure did push this medication, they must've been getting a kickback from the manufacturer."

"Had three fingernails infected. Somehow got it in a golf glove during the summer, and it got into the nails. Been using the product for 10 months. My pinky cleared up nicely in 6 months and is completely normal now. The other two nails are continuing to improve, so I am still using the product. For me, filing the top of the nail before application seems to be more effective. I've been doing that for the last two months. Perhaps, for me, it allows the medication to penetrate through the nail better. My copay is $40, and I've only used three bottles in 10 months."

"Been using for 8 months on the right big toenail and left and right smallest toenail. Applying every day faithfully, no results. Pay $40 a month copay. What a rip-off. Do not buy and do not waste your money. Why are doctors prescribing this medication when it is not working for so many people? Of course, they get money off this also. So many desperate fools out there being exploited once again by the medical profession. One doctor told me point-blank-'you will never get rid of this problem.' He was right. DO NOT BUY JUBLIA!!!!"

"Probably about 80% of my nail was discolored for the last 20 years (at least) with this fungus. I recently stubbed my toe, and the nail was lifted off the bed and eventually came off. I thought that should get rid of the fungus. Nope, when the nail returned, so did the fungus. I've been using Jublia for about 5 weeks now, and I see a remarkable improvement. The 'pink' area has at least tripled, and I'm fully confident it will return to normal. I think the reason why it takes so long is that the toenail is very slow growing. Works for me."

"Liked the first bottle and seems to be working. Second bottle round, not oval, VERY, VERY hard to press for a drop, can't tell if there is a drop or not as the brush is so thick until it is put right on the nail, and by then there may be 2 drops on the brush. VERY, VERY difficult to tell how much you are using at $83.00 per bottle, which lasts 3 weeks. This is a very expensive way to use. I had no problem with the first bottle. Oval in shape, easy to squeeze for a drop, brush was easy to see what you are doing."

"I have been using this product for 1.5 years now, and 2 of 5 toes are clear, while the other 3 are not. I used an over-the-counter a few years back, and it seemed to work better, and it was 1/10th the cost. I feel had I kept using it for 1.5 years, it may have worked better than Jublia. The applicator is garbage!"

"Two big toes infected, one year and more than ten years. Whole nail rotting on both. One month on Jublia so far. Looking clear now, and just need to see how they grow out. The first week of Jublia, my feet were immersed in water many hours a day in neoprene booties while kayaking. I think that helped to kill the fungus and allowed the medication to deeply penetrate the nail. I also used a pedicure tool to keep all areas of the cuticle and under the nail clean. I put the medication on once a day, never missing a day, after a good soak in water."

"Jublia worked for me! I’ve had really bad fungus on 2 of my toenails for years, and this really took care of it. It took about 6-7 months to see amazing results! This is not an overnight treatment, you must be consistent and use it every day to see it work. It’s been 7 months and my new nail that has grown is fungus-free!"

"Have used the product faithfully each day for about 7 1/2 months. May have slight improvement, but not much. Will finish the 3rd bottle and move on. Certainly not worth the exorbitant price, even if covered by insurance."

"Have been using Jublia for about 2 months on two small toenails. So far, it's working very well. The new nail doesn't look perfect, but it looks so much better than before. I had tried several different treatments before this, and none of them worked at all."

"I've been battling toenail fungus for about 10 years. Tried the generic version of Lamisil (terbinafine), but quit that nasty drug as it made me feel ill. Have had laser surgery twice... what a joke. In fact, I think it damaged my nails, and sadly, I don't think they'll ever be the same again. I was on Jublia for a full year (applied every day) and saw nominal improvement and a return of the fungus when I discontinued use. Back on it and supplement treatment with Vicks VapoRub and a blend of essential oils that have been 'proven' to get rid of the fungus. I've also cut out sugar and grains, all things that supposedly feed fungus. Additionally, I take a daily probiotic. The jury is still out on whether any of this will work. I HATE BIG PHARMA!"

"I have used this drug for 7 months, and I have not seen positive results thus far. I would not waste my time or money using it again. I got my prescriptions at a very reduced cost rate due to insurance coverage, and I still would not use it again. I think there are other options out there that are less expensive and more effective. I have used one round of Lamisil a couple of years ago, and it got rid of two fungus-infected toenails. But I have two more that have not been healed yet."

"Like the most recent comments. Had tried everything with no results. Jumped through the insurance hoops and have been using for almost 4 months. Toenail almost grown back out. Best it has ever looked. Just found out my insurance will no longer cover it next year. Hope my supply lasts until it is gone."

"DO NOT use with Atorvastatin for high cholesterol! I had extreme muscle pain & degeneration in back, waist down & thighs until I finally realized I had to be drug interaction! Azole antifungals should never be used with statins. (Found out in internet searching; within NIH study warning physical therapists that some patients’ problems might be due to statin use.) Azole antifungals and statins use the same pathway in the body; you get destroyed! I was feeling like a 90-yr. old lady; it affected me cognitively, also. Once I stopped both, I got better & better; probably had rhabdomyolysis - damaging muscle cells. I am not as good as I once was; you can’t grow new muscle cells. Your doctor probably doesn’t even know about the interaction of azoles & statins - most can’t keep up, knowing all details. *Used Jublia for 3 mos., 2x a week, not daily. Sorry, it happened 5 years ago - should’ve warned sooner. See, it still affects me; it’s on my mind!"

"I have been fighting nail fungus for over 30 years; I've tried griseofulvin, Lamisil, and then Jublia in 2015. I did Jublia for 10 months and then got a severe skin reaction: intense itching, blisters, etc. The podiatrist had me soaking my feet, trying this cream, etc. I went off Jublia and let my skin get back to normal, which took a few months. I just restarted back on it after over a year off because it's the only thing that has worked. The itching returned immediately; I am trying to manage it."

"My podiatrist prescribed Jublia to battle a years-old fungal infection in every nail on my left foot. I’ve tried laser treatment in the past, tea tree, OTC antifungal meds with minimal results. I have really been trying to be consistent with using it. I purchased an electric nail filing tool to keep the nails thin so the medication can penetrate. I am slowly seeing results and hope to continue. I am very grateful to have insurance coverage for this very expensive medication since I use 5 drops a day. If you use this, I suggest using it and letting it dry before having contact with any fabrics (socks, bedding, etc.), stay barefoot as much as possible, keep cuticles trimmed, and you can still do a tea tree foot soak. I will update progress in a few months!"

"I have experienced fungus primarily in my big toes for about 3 years. Various homeopathic treatments worked for a time, but this past November, the fungus had consumed 90% of the nail down to the cuticle level. Seeing a podiatrist, I began a regimen of Jublia and sports soap (tea tree oil-based) every day. I also made sure to change to clean socks daily, keep the inside of my shoes clean, and keep my feet dry and exposed to air/sunlight as much as possible. The Jublia is working very well. I have recovered 60% of my nail with no evidence of additional fungus. It’s important to be careful about not getting too much Jublia on the skin surrounding the nail, some burning irritation can occur if you repeatedly get it on the skin. It's an expensive drug, but I have no doubt I would have lost my nails without it."

"I am 49 and have had horrible foot and toenail fungus since I was 17! I went to endless doctors that didn't seem to care. Then I just learned to live with it. A few years ago, I was referred to a podiatrist from my family doctor, and I started on Jublia. I used it for a year. Came off, I think only one or two toenails healed. Then I went back on last year and got remarkable results. Although it could also be related to the fact that I stopped wearing squishy heels."

"I've been using Jublia for 11 months. I don't see clearing yet, it's very frustrating. Also, have some swelling to the foot itself. I am not sure if it is a side effect or not and need help since my family doctor has since retired. Thank you."
