Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) "I was originally on Yaz, cleared up skin in 3 months. It was amazing! Although I did get occasional headaches. Switched to Beyaz due to the Bayer savings card. I continued to get headaches..like stay in bed all day headaches..so now I am finally switching to another birth control. I would rather not be on one at all considering what it does to my body but it's that or acne. I would rather take the pill."

"I took Yaz for several years and was put on the generic version of this by Sandoz so I didn’t have to pay for birth control. Honestly, it has been awful. My acne is out of control like I have never experienced before in my life. My emotions are all over the place & I feel like I can’t control them. I also experience horrible menstrual pain and headaches.I really wish I could go back on Yaz because It worked much better then the generic version made by Sandoz."

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) "I like this pill for the most part! I am taking it for many things but mainly acne, it cleared up in a month! I have a lighter period and no cramps. The first period on it was irregular because my body had to get used to the hormones. It’s effective in protection, and also helped with PMS. One thing I will say is that I struggled with nausea and food aversions to things I really used to love, but other than that I like it :)"

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) "In the beginning I was emotional and all over the place & I also broke out . I am now near the three end mark and my skin has improved tremendously. I do have scars and I've never been one to get scars from picking at pimples but I'm not sure if the pills had something to do with it or picking at them did . Other than that , all the side effects have subsided and my skin is the clearest it has been in a loooong long time !!"

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) "Started this medicine for acne. I was on Tri-Sprintec previously which was doing okay but I began to have break through bleeding for 3 weeks so we switched but the acne was improving great. One month in taking Beyaz and I was shaking a lot and my hands were very noticeable. My heart was beating out of my chest. I ended up sick and in the Urgent Care (unrelated) and found my blood pressure was high. I began to follow this closely and found it stayed high and the shaking, heart palpitations & high blood pressure all come hand in hand as rare side effects of this medication. I stopped it and by day 2 returned to normal. I began to have horrible migraines from stopping the medicine though and my acne wasn’t as clear on this as Tri-Sprintec."

Rajani (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) "I have been on Beyaz for the last 5 years. Early this year, my pharmacy mailed a 3 month supply of Rajani instead of Beyaz, and my face was flawless during those three months. After the 3 months were up, my pharmacy started mailing Beyaz again and I have had very small breakouts (as I have during my Beyaz experience). I like beyaz, as my acne is much better than it used to be but I will be requesting my pharmacy to switch me to the generic Rajani as it has been the best BC for acne for me so far."
