"I started Beyaz 2 years ago, then stopped it for about a year because I didn't need it (so I thought). I wasn't in any type of serious relationship when I stopped taking it then proceeded to end up in something serious. I decided to get back on it (3-4 months ago) and I truly love this pill. This go round I take it as directed, everyday on the same hour. I've missed one dosage and just doubled up the next day and started back my routine as directed. My periods weren't regular when I first started it, but continuing it and sticking with it and taking it as directed... they became regular. Not so heavy (sometimes have clots but I can handle that). I really recommend this pill. But take it like you're supposed to! Also: no weight gain for me!"

"I started taking Beyaz after trying Lo Loestrin Fe, that made me terribly sick. My friend had recommended it to me. I had no side effects and my period is only like 4 or 5 days long. There's no tiredness or mood swings before I get my period either. No spotting, no increase in acne. My sex drive has stayed the same. My mood has been so much lighter. Beyaz is great! I would recommend it to anyone that has had problems with other birth control pills. It's a miracle."

"I was on Loestrin FE for 5 years and I was also diagnosed with bi-polar disorder while I was in high school. Loestrin worked for a little bit but I gained 20 pounds quick. I still had sexual desire mentally but my body wouldn't react and I was always too tired or to moody or to emotional. And since I've been on it for a while the side effects seemed like they hit me a second time and it was like my period was playing peek-a-boo with me. But 3 months ago I switched to Beyaz and I've never been more happy and more...well....attacking my fiance. I give Beyaz a 10 and highly recommend it! And I'm 20."

"I've been on Beyaz for almost a month now. I really like it. So far I've had no side effects. THATS GREAT. I was on two other birth controls and they made me gain weight and made my acne get ten times worse and did not help my cramps and I got badly depressed. Since taking Beyaz my acne has not gone away completely but has not got worse. I have not had any side effects so far. I love it. "

"I feel wonderful taking Beyaz but it's not perfect. It really helped with moderate acne, sometimes I would break out on my back and chest since taking I don't remember when I had a blemish. I have no mood swings, bloating or weight gain-- I'm actually at my lowest weight. Best thing my sex drive is great. The only minus is my period still varies sometimes it's heavy, sometimes it's light and I'm still getting intensive cramps the first day but honestly, I have no other issues and I can deal with it."

"Beyaz was the third birth control pill I had tried. I was previously on Loestrin 24 (made me a raving lunatic), then on Lo Loestrin 10 (gave me no period at all, which made me uncomfortable and more susceptible to vaginal infections). I was skeptical about starting a new pill, but this one is wonderful! The only side effects I have are tender and enlarged breasts. I highly recommend it!"

"I have only been on Beyaz for a week but I have noticed a SIGNIFICANT decrease in appetite. I have already lost weight on this pill. So far I have noticed increased minor headaches and nausea the first few days. So far I really like this pill, the last pill I was on made me gain weight and I was very emotional. Hope it continues to be a good a pill for me."

"I've been on Beyaz for almost a year, Since them I've gone through times of weight gain and loss which could just be my body's normal function. Recently I have noticed aversions to certain foods, nausea, severe migraines, and lack of sleep. I haven't noticed a change in sex drive. My skin in flawless, but recently I've had severe migraines. "

"I just finished month 2 of Beyaz and am hoping things get better after month 3. I have had just about every side effect that has been listed except for the mood swings. I have gained quite a bit of weight. In the first few weeks of taking Beyaz I was very nauseous and vomited a few times. I have daily headaches. I have zero sex drive and the thought of sex makes me ill when I am usually very sexually active. Thank goodness I have an understanding partner. I am unbelievably tired no matter how much sleep I get. I normally have acne on a regular basis but it hasn't gotten worse but I am patiently waiting for it to get better. I will continue to take Beyaz as recommended by my doctor for at least another 2 months and hope things get better."

"I have taken this pill for two years now. I was originally put on it, because of a polyp. The polyp decreased dramatically. I have had no side effects minus minor spotting. My mood has increased dramatically right before and during my period. I used to have really bad cramps when I would get my period; however, that is practically non-existent now."

"I have been on Beyaz for a little over a week and I feel like a crazy person. Like so many of the comments I've read, I also switched from Yaz to Beyaz after its Bayer Saver's Program expired. Now I have headaches almost daily and am extremely moody. It's terrible."

"I have been on Beyaz birth control for about 5 years now, and I have never really had any serious problems with it! As a birth control, it seems to be working great no babies here! I've never really had any acne, however I used to get random pimples on my thighs which was so strange to me but when I started Beyaz they quickly disappeared. My breasts have grown a substantial amount, but I do not have bad bloating or weight gain in other areas which is awesome. The only downside I have noticed to this medication, is that my mood swings were terrible the first couple weeks. This is normal when you give your body any extra hormones so I was not too worried about it. The mood swings stopped about 4 weeks in."

"I was on Yaz a few years ago until I couldn't afford it anymore. I absolutely loved it. My face was clear, my period was light and it worked magic on my ABSOLUTELY UNBEARABLE cramps. I've been on Beyaz for a month now and I am not really seeing the same things I saw with Yaz just yet. I was really nauseous for the first two weeks, my face is still breaking out (not because of the pill), cramps aren't bad but have not disappeared and my sex drive has decreased. I'm hoping this is just for the first month and things get better down the line."

"I've been on this birth control for about 2 weeks now, and let me explain I've never been on birth control before. I experienced just about no side effects so far, no unusual weight gain, headaches, or cravings. No bad mood swings and it already helping my acne (the reason I went on it). The downfall: I've been bleeding for the whole 2 weeks I've been on it. I started it the day of my period as instructed, usually I bleed for 4-5 days but I have had my period now for 2 weeks straight. I think it's getting light and about to go away and then I wake up the next morning and back again! If this side effect continues into the next pack I may have to give up beyaz:( I am on the generic by the way."

"I have been on Beyaz for only 5 days. My doctor recommended it knowing that I am a smoker, but I'm only 25. I already had a tubal ligation so Beyaz is for hormones and acne. I feel very nauseous and have severe migraines, loss of appetite extremely tired, also I have a nasty taste in my mouth that just won't go away no matter how much I brush floss or mouthwash. I'm not sure if I could handle these side effects being a 2 and 3, working full time I have to have the most energy as possible. These side effects don't help."

"I started BeYaz because it was recommended by a new PA I'm seeing. SHe said it would help with the PMS symptoms I described. I've nearly completed the first pack and I am feeling completely out of control, depressed, even suicidal, and irritable and SO angry. I DID NOT feel this way before, even at my worst PMS times. I started my period about a week before I should have this month. I don't know if I should continue using this pill or not. It just dawned on me that it could be the BeYaz, and after reading the pamphlet and now these postings, I think the BeYaz may be why I've been having these overwhelming symptoms."

"I went from Yaz to Beyaz. Worst decision ever. Yaz was amazing, but I was receiving it for free. They couldn't offer it for free anymore so they put me on Beyaz. My period is longer, my cramps are bad and I am emotional - which is crazy because I was never emotional when I was on Yaz or no birth control! The worst part is the acne. GIANT pimples everywhere. I am 27 and feel like I am 13! Ladies, keep in mind everyone will have their own experience, as it's how it reacts with your specific body."

"I'm just starting my 3rd week of BeYaz and after reading some of the scary side effects I was very hesitant to take it. My doctor assured me that it was safe and that it was one of her favorite pills & she actually took it herself. The first few days were ok, then I started noticing I got nauseous about an hour after taking it. I was taking it in the evening a few hours after dinner. My mother suggested taking it with yogurt. So I switched and began taking it at lunch with a yogurt and I have had no additional nausea. I have been more tired than normal, but due to other things going on right now, I can't be certain that is from the pill. Overall so far I've had a good experience with this pill & I'm glad my doctor recommended it."

"I have been taking beyaz for 3 years. And I love it! I take it religiously! Same time everyday! I have had no problems with it, in fact my periods have became lighter since taking it! Which I love because I hated my period. And my face is so clear! I had bad acne before I started it and I get compliments all the time now about how clear and smooth my face is! And I would recommend this pill to someone who knows they can take it on time everyday, who wants to get rid of their acne, and who doesn't want any kids!"

"So far I have been on Beyaz for 4 months and have not had any issues. Acne-wise: I have minimal acne but I do get have hormonal cystic acne which is painful and bothersome. Since being on Beyaz for the past 4 months, I have not had any huge cystic breakouts before or after my period! So far so good! Weight gain: Within the first month of taking Beyaz I didn't have much of an appetite (no changes in diet) and lost maybe about 5-6 lbs in a month but my body must have gotten use to the pill because I gained that all back within the next month (no changes in diet). Thankful I have not had any of the major side effects such as severe cramping or bloating, swelling of ankles, hair loss (my hair is already thin so I can't really say if that had an effect or not). So far so good."

"The first birth control I was on I gained 15 lbs in 5 months, my doctor switched me to Yaz. I had no weight loss and no side effects other then a decrease in my sexual drive, three months ago I started taking Beyaz. I have gained 12 lbs in 3 months of taking it! Nothing in my daily routine has changed to make me gain that kind of weight."

"I was scared to take Beyaz because of some of the reviews I had but I’m so glad I did. I was diagnosed with mild PCOS and was having irregular spotting and pelvic cramps from it, after 2 months of being on it my pelvic cramps and irregular bleeding have gone away. My periods are now lighter and I have less cramping. I did experience a breakout when I first started taking it but it wasn’t too bad and it eventually went away within a couple of weeks. I definitely recommend this birth control and it hasn’t caused me anything bad for me so far!"

"I have been on Beyaz for almost 3 weeks more for endometriosis. So far I am tired all the time, my breasts have increased a size and are constantly sore. I am hot most of the time (I am normally cold) and my sex drive has increased. I was placed on this because I am having unbearable cramping and pain when having sex. I am unable to afford the Laproscopy at this time so my doctor has placed me on Beyaz. The pains have gone from an 11 to about a 2, YAY! So far I have not had any pains during sex. I know that I still need to have this procedure and that this pill will not eliminate the problem but it is a great help. Just wish the pain in my breast would stop!"

"I've been on Beyaz since September 2013 after switching from the Depo Shot. I love the pill, however, I get really bad cramps when my period comes. Not sure if it's because my body is still adjusting to being off the shot or what."

"So far it's been a lot better than I expected. I have been dreading going on hormonal birth control, but after a failed experience with my Paragard IUD, I gave Beyaz a try. I haven't gained any weight at all- this was my biggest fear and I'm so happy it didn't come true. My stomach is flat and unbloated. My boobs have increased in size- they just feel nice and full but not sore! Sometimes I do feel a little blue, and my sex drive is definitely lower. My libido is at about 90% when I am with my boyfriend. My acne has gotten much worse, but they say this happens at first and then clear skin follows. Period has been light and no cramps!"
