For Osteoarthritis "I've taken Voltaren for over 25 years 3 times a day. For 5 days before each of 4 complete joint replacements, I had to quit taking it since it is a slight blood thinner. Each time I got very stiff with painful joints. I've tried most of the other arthritis NSAIDs, and none work nearly as well. My Dr. runs a liver function test every 6 months."

For Back Pain "I have bulging and degenerative discs from my cervical all the way down to my lumbar. I would have it rubbed on my back on days when I couldn't get out of bed or stand up. The cream, along with my meds, would put me to sleep and then allow me to get up pain-free. It's really great after a long day."

For Back Pain "Personally, it's the best gel I have used to warm up my back muscles, making the muscles feel like I've stretched for 15 - 20 minutes. Don't expect miracles. You should not be expecting this gel to completely alleviate back pain. It's not supposed to do that. It's supposed to get your muscles to a place where you can do other things more easily to attain painlessness via a combined effort. For a lot of back pain, if you use the gel in conjunction with consistent stretching (twice daily) whilst consuming the correct diet and being active enough to lower your body weight, you will be in a much better place in no time - so be encouraged! The gel really helps you do the things you need to do physically to get to that place."

For Muscle Pain "Wonderful anti-inflammatory. It never failed to deliver, cream and pills. After 3 months of muscle pain, huge inflammation in all my back, hamstring, quad, the pain and swelling reduces after 5 days, and left me in 10 days... nice ^^"

For Osteoarthritis "I am 46, female, with osteoarthritis in one knee - had an arthroscopy last year that seemed to just make things worse. I have tried the Synvisc injections - no help. It was getting to the point where I was sitting most of the day to avoid the pain and stiffness. Even swimming was painful. I would have to take at least 800mg of Motrin to feel the tiniest bit of relief. Tried Oxycodone and Vicodin - nothing except sleepiness. Started taking Voltaren a few days ago - the generic diclofenac - 50 mg 2x a day. Wow - I am so surprised how well this is working! I am moving around with little pain and only a small amount of stiffness now. No side effects so far. I am so grateful my doctor suggested this - I am happier now!"

For Frozen Shoulder "Doctor recommended surgery, but I had some Voltaren gel that I used for my knee. Worked well for the knee, so I used it on my left shoulder. After a couple of days applying it 3 times daily, it started working. I have been using it since, and it really helps. I haven't had any stomach ache problems like oral NSAIDs."

For Muscle Pain "Used Voltaren on mild tendonitis of the elbow. Not only did it immediately reduce the pain, but it seems to be helping to speed up healing. When I am not using it, the pain seems to be getting progressively less severe."

For Muscle Pain "I have been in pain for so very long that I thought there was no way anything could help. My latest painful foray was when I pulled a muscle in my shoulder. I used Voltaren the first time and it took almost all the pain away. The second time I used it, I was pain-free. I was thrilled."

For Osteoarthritis "I have been on all kinds of pain medicines and have had injections in my spine and hip to help relieve the pain from my arthritis, but nothing has worked as good as this. I know there are risks with this medicine, but for the relief I got, the benefits more than outweigh the risk. This stuff works."

For Pain "I hurt every morning where I can't move easily, and I have tried so many things, but nothing worked. Then I read about Voltaren and thought, well, it can't hurt to try it. I'm so happy I tried it, as it started to work fast, and you're not in any pain at all throughout the day. It really, truly works fast, and it lasts, so if you are in pain, don't look any further, buy this. I'm telling you, you will be pain-free, so don't waste your money on other stuff that doesn't work. Buy this and you will be as happy as I am."

For Back Pain "I just started getting terrible back pain. Went to the doc and realized that I have arthritis. She prescribed Voltaren, and the pain went away immediately. My whole body felt so much better. I have not felt any side effects. It’s a great drug."

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "I have rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and also arthritis in my neck and spine. I take the 100 mg tablet, and it works just fine for me. I take it with Zantac 150 to protect my stomach. I only need 1 pill a day. If in severe pain, I will also take a muscle relaxer called Norflex, and I am able to rest and function and get much-needed relief."

For Pain "I have heel spurs and find every few weeks the pain is unbearable. This is the only thing that relieves the pain. And I take 2, and that seems to fix me for a couple of days. Not sure why that is, but as long as it works, that's the main thing."

For Pain "The side effects are brutal. Stomach aches, nausea, bloody stools, headache, diarrhea, increased blood pressure, just to name a few. This medicine did give me some relief from pain at the cost of the side effects. Be careful with this medicine, I won't take this med anymore."

For Pain "Had gout on and off now for 20 years and always used Voltaren 75 at the first signs of an attack. I take one tablet and the symptoms are usually gone in about 3 to 4 hours. I have been to doctors on several occasions when I ran out of Voltaren and asked for Voltaren on prescription, but always told that they are not good to take and always given rubbish that does not work. I normally go on holiday to Spain and get pills over the counter at the local pharmacy."

For Muscle Pain "I have scoliosis, which not only gives me intense back pain but also takes away my ability to walk from how excruciating it is. I find that Voltaren takes away the pain quickly, which is a relief since I am a student and I have to walk from class to class."

For Osteoarthritis "Night pain from knee osteoarthritis - a burning on the medial side - sometimes bothers me at night, particularly if I have been active during the day. If I get up and walk around for a few minutes, sometimes the pain vanishes. Otherwise, I apply Voltaren gel - about the size of a small grape - over the sore place, and the pain goes away pretty quickly. I occasionally apply Voltaren ahead of time if I know I'm going to be on my feet a lot."

For Period Pain "My doctor prescribed Voltaren after an extremely painful IUD insertion and subsequent cramping. I've never had cramps like these before. I'd literally be curled up in the fetal position, unable to even talk. Depending on the level of pain, this either completely eradicated it or made it totally bearable and lasted for 12 hours at a stretch. Voltaren is wonderful, and I'm glad my doctor recommended it over a narcotic painkiller."

For Osteoarthritis "I have been taking Voltaren for the past 6 years in conjunction with omapromazin. I would not have been able to walk, sleep, or enjoy life. It is only now, after having two knee replacements, that I no longer need to take any medication. I think Voltaren is a way to enjoy life again, without pain. But for me, I am happy to have the new knee replacements."

For Back Pain "I went through cortisone injections and got relief, which lasted about 5 months, after which I received an ablation procedure, which did nothing. It was not worth the discomfort of the procedure. I then tried Voltaren, even though it was not approved (yet) for back pain. I am 81 yrs old, and with age came spinal disk changes and arthritis, which for the most part is unavoidable. I swear by this product. It has alleviated 95% of my pain with the application just 1x per day. I also use a heating pad for 20-30 minutes following the application, waiting 1 hour after the application. Kudos to the science."

For Osteoarthritis "Voltaren is a fabulous drug. I have osteoarthritis of the spine and hip and carpal tunnel syndrome. After taking Voltaren for 3 days, 50 mg once a day, I am no longer limping, and the inflammation in my hands has gone down. I am back to hiking, swimming, and piano playing. What a relief."

For Back Pain "I have severe sciatic pain, and the spine doctor prescribed this for me. It worked for a while, and after a week, my pain started going up. I switched to OTC ibuprofen, and it worked better. So, I guess it depends on person to person."

For Osteoarthritis "Have cervical spondylosis, was amazed how well this medicine works. Tylenol, etc. does not reduce the inflammation, which is very important in pain management. Take pills 75 mg 2 x daily, for 2-3 days, then go off of them until I cannot tolerate the pain. Last time I took Voltaren was in mid-March, now it's mid-April. Very happy."

For Osteoarthritis "Been in pain for 9 months. $800 knee brace. Helped but not enough. Took a fall on the ice and a trip to Ortho walk-in. Gave me Voltaren to take. No pain in less than an hour. Not thrilled with possible side effects, but pain-free. I will take the chance."

For Osteoarthritis "I have been struggling for a couple of years with pain in my right knee. Problems sleeping and now walk with a limp. Bought Voltaren after seeing numerous glowing ads on TV. Very expensive and an absolute waste of money. This cream made no difference at all. Rubbish."
