For Deep Vein Thrombosis Prophylaxis after Abdominal Surgery "I find this drug very painful to use. The needle is very painful entering your skin, and it stings for a while afterward. I had to come off it after a couple of weeks, as I couldn’t stand the pain and discomfort, so unable if it helped or not."

For Venous Thromboembolism "I find using Fragmin very easy to use. You push the needle in slowly, then release the liquid. When you finish, leave the needle in for a few seconds, then pull the needle out slowly. My needles I inject with are sharp. I have no problems, no side effects."

For Deep Vein Thrombosis, Prophylaxis "I find the needle end too blunt, and they can be hard to pierce my skin. Hopefully, they’re doing the right job, though! I'm on this to prevent a DVT from a broken ankle."

For Deep Vein Thrombosis, Prophylaxis "I have multiple myeloma. The medication is working, and I have not experienced blood clots since I started this protocol, but I find the needles sometimes dull and difficult to insert into my skin. Is there any way these pre-filled syringes could come with sharper, smaller needles?"
