For HIV Infection "Been on genvoya for around 6 years after having been on stribild for 2. No major side effects at the start but gradually my mental health has struggled with anxiety/panic and now feel depression is setting in. Fatigue has also become a real issue. Not sure if this is related to genvoya or not but have asked the clinic if I can try switching to rule it out. Having done some reading on others though, genuinely not sure what will be best to try. I should add that my numbers have been good on this."

For HIV Infection "My first day after Genvoya pill. A little diarrhea and smelly flatulence. My tummy is grumbling. Other feelings a little headache- but maybe thats fom the weather outside apart from that nothing noticable. So far I think this is a good medicine"

For HIV Infection "I’ve been taking Genvoya for a very long time. I love that it is a once a day dosage. I am not aware of any side effects and do have my liver enzymes monitored several times a year and often they are slightly elevated but this could partially be due to other medications and/or genetics. I didn’t know that it is supposed to be taken with food for optimal absorption until this past year. I’m sure I must have not researched it enough. Now I am learning about how much food needs to be ingested, and the time to wait for the stomach acids to begin digestion process. My doctor switched me to another HIV pill with less ingredients when it came out, but I had terrible side effects so he switched me back to Genvoya."

For HIV Infection "I was diagnosed in 2017 my viral load over 400000 I started with Atripla which I had no problem with but a new Dr suggested Genvoya because of Atriplas side effects. With Genvoya I was undetectable in 2 months. I’ve never had a side effect that I can think of besides flatulence and I’ve had that forever (lol) I highly recommend trying it if your having problems with other medications."

For HIV Infection "I was diagnosed in 2001, started on Lexiva, Norvir and Truvada in 2005, changed to Stribild in 2015, and switched to Genvoya in 2016 since it contains the newer, less toxic Truvada. I have been undetectable since. I have been fortunate to have had no noticeable side effects or discomfort at all. I'm also on Crestor. I give Genvoya a 10 and consider myself very fortunate!"

For HIV Infection "I was diagnosed HIV positive in April of this year. After lengthy discussions with my treatment nurse we mutually decided to start treatment as my labs were 'good' - VL 33000 & CD4 510; meaning this was caught early. I've been on Genvoya for 1 month so far and all is good. I already suffer high cholesterol so take G in the morning to prevent interaction with atorvastatin taken at night. Suffering just 1 day of extreme nausea, I think this was down to not eating with the tablet as per advice. I was rushing as late for work. I'm keeping an eye on tiredness as often feel like a short nap around lunch time. This is unusual for me. My BP (blood pressure) and DM2 (Diabetes mellitus type 2) remain stable. I just had my bloods taken a few hours ago and have to wait 2 weeks for first results whilst on this regimen. My adherence is also 100% so generally hopeful."
