Clomiphene "My fiancé and I have been trying since January, with irregular periods and month after month of negative pregnancy tests. I have had every blood test and scan under the sun done, and today, FINALLY, I have found out it’s unexplained infertility and I have my course for 100mg Clomid for 3 months. We want our baby so bad, I am praying I have success like a lot of the stories I am reading on here. Please wish us luck!! x"

Clomiphene "I took Clomid for the first time days 5-9, and the side effects are the worst! I already have heart problems, so I thought that's what was going on. I went to the ER for severe chest pain, and all tests were negative. After researching, I realize it's bad indigestion. I also have Fibro and am used to back pain, but Clomid gave me the worst back pain I've ever felt, along with nausea and migraines. I have to lay down or walk hunched over to relieve some pain. I've also been extremely fatigued. I had to nap 3 times a day for a few hours and still feel exhausted. My uterus feels so sore and heavy. I'm on cycle day 15 and still showing a flashing (OPK) Ovulation Predictor Kit. Hopefully, tomorrow is peak day so I can get pregnant already!"

Clomiphene "I have been trying to conceive for about 3 years, but no luck. I had an issue with my period, and I don't ovulate. So, in 2021, my OB put me on Letrozole 5 mg for 5 days, but unfortunately, my egg growth was not good. The OB said because of my weight, my egg is not growing. So my husband and I lost hope, and then a miracle happened this year. Again, I went to an OB in March, then they did an ultrasound, and the OB prescribed me Clomid 100 mg for cycle days 3 to 7. Then, on the 12th cycle, I went for an ultrasound to check the follicle growth. On my right, there were no follicles, on the left, I had 21 mm and 16 mm follicles. So, on that day, the doctor gave an HCG injection to ovulate. On the 13th cycle, I ovulated, and I waited for 9 DPO to check for pregnancy, but it showed negative. Again, I felt it didn't work. So finally, I missed my period, and after 3 days, today I took a pregnancy test, it came back positive. Clomid's 1st cycle has been a success. I will pray for all those who are going through this infertility!"

Clomiphene "My doctor prescribed Fetomid 50 mg for 5 days. I used it on the second day after my period, which is 07/12/2021 - 11/12/2021. Today, 20/12/2021, I am having morning sickness, and I did a pregnancy test that is positive with a faint line. I am nervous, please pray for me that I am pregnant and that it's not a false test and false pregnancy symptoms."

"We are on our 4th cycle of Clomid. The first three cycles were 100 mg of Clomid, days 2-5, with added 1000 mg of Metformin. I did ovulate on the first month, as progesterone was 60+, however, months 2 and 3 didn't bring on a period or pregnancy. I am now on cycle 4, and my doctor has upped my dosage to 150 mg. I am 4 days past my period due date but negative. Life is a complete misery, I don't know what to do. Can you ladies please update regularly on this."

Clomiphene "In 2012, I was prescribed 50mg of Clomid. On the 3rd cycle, I got pregnant and now my daughter is 10. I have endometriosis and I am trying to conceive baby number 2. I just finished my first cycle of 50mg Clomid and currently I am 4 days past ovulation. The waiting to test is the worst."

Clomiphene "My doctor started me on Clomid five months ago, and no luck. Every month I get my hopes up. I get nausea, breasts feel different a week before I start my period. I take a test before I start my period, and it's always negative, and then I get my period. My doctor put me on half a pill, which equals 6 days, starting on my third day of my period. I need advice. I keep telling myself to quit it and accept, but I truly want another baby with my husband, as he wants one also. I feel like a failure, and I am letting him down."

Clomiphene "We have been trying for 1 year to get pregnant, with a chemical pregnancy in January 2021. Diagnosed with PCOS in September 2022, with the left tube damaged. Starting on Clomid on my next cycle - OB/Gyn prescribed 100 mg days 4 to 8. Hoping for a positive test result by August 2022. I am very positive, reading all the success stories. Clomiphene "I was suffering from PCOD, both my ovaries were bulky, and then I was on birth control pills. Again, my gynae suggested Clomid 50mg for 3 cycles. Then I stopped, and I didn't get my period after 40 days. I did a home pregnancy test, it was positive. Now I'm 10 weeks pregnant. Hope everything goes well. Clomiphene "I'm using Clomid for the second time now for IVF. The first time we used it to produce lots of healthy eggs for IVF. That was a success, but the IVF didn't take. Now, two years later I have one open tube and the doctor gave me Clomid to ensure I ovulate on my open side. I'm on day two now. Minor headache, but nothing worrisome. I'm hopeful I'll have some good news in a couple of weeks. Hubby and I have been TTC for a year and a half now."

Clomiphene "I'm 36 years old, and I've been trying for baby #2 since 2017. I had laparoscopy surgery in November 2021, and my OB/GYN put me on Fertomid 50 from day 1-5, not sure why, as my periods are regular. My first Clomid cycle was in December, and I didn't get pregnant. I'm currently on my 2nd cycle, and I'm hoping and praying that I get pregnant this cycle. Clomiphene "Tried this in order to start a family. I had some pretty awful eye problems while taking it. I'd have to wear sunglasses most of the day, with a constant ache starting on about day 4 of 10. Still, it was worth it to try to have a baby. I didn't get very many rounds, though. Due to an unexpected life circumstance, we had to stop trying. I'd like to give it another shot, though, when life settles back down. I felt that it may have been helping. Oh, and it revved up my already high libido by ten times."

"I started the 50 mg treatment on 5 February 2021, took an ovulation test on 16 February, and it was positive. So we have started being intimate on a daily basis, hopefully, by the end of the month, we will get a positive pregnancy test."

Clomiphene "My husband and I are both 35 and have been trying to conceive naturally for 7 months. He has a low sperm count, I have irregular cycles or heavy ones. So my doctor put me on Clomid 50 mg for 5 days, took my first round on day 4 of my cycle, and finished the first round. We are now trying each and every day. Symptoms I've had are hot flushes, mood swings, fatigue, slight headaches, and now and then stomach cramps. I have lower back pain, started to get pimples, and started to get hunger pains in the morning. Later, after eating, I still feel hungry (don't know if that's normal). Today is the 8th day after my cycle, and my next period, according to my calendar, starts 22 days from now. I'm really hoping and praying that we conceive on the first round and miss my cycle. We really want our first baby, and I want to surprise him with a positive result. Any advice and tips on symptoms from the medicine and after taking it on the first go?"

"So when I used clomiphene the first time, I got pregnant and miscarried at 7 weeks. I used it for the second time and I ended up getting my period. I'm about to use it for the third time, and I'm scared. Why did it fail the second time, and will it work the third? My husband and I got all sorts of tests done with our fertility doctor prior to being prescribed this need. Safe to say he's fine, and I am good to go. But my doctor did suspect mild PCOS on my end."
