Clomid (clomiphene) "My fiancé and I have been trying to conceive for four years. We are both 26 years old. Last year I was rushed into emergency surgery because I had cancerous cysts on my right ovary and cysts that had burst. After the procedure was done, my doctor told me that my left ovary didn't work. It wasn't producing anything. So, he told me that the cancerous cysts were probably the cause of why we hadn't gotten pregnant yet, and if in a year we still weren't pregnant to come back in. Well, one year went by and nothing. So, he prescribed me Clomid and told me to take it day 1 of my period for 5 days. I am currently on day 4/5 and have had no serious side effects besides a minor headache that goes away with Tylenol. I am so excited to see if this works!"

Clomid (clomiphene) "Clomid has been giving me some bad side effects. I managed. I started my third round on the 4th of November, this being my second day of my period. Until the 8th, I’ve been intimate on the 9th, 11th, 15th, and the 16th. My period is two days late. I took two pregnancy tests, which were negative."

Clomid (clomiphene) "I tried clomiphene for 3 cycles. Unfortunately, in the 1st two cycles, I didn't get pregnant. In the 3rd round, my husband was out of station. As the doctor recommended us to try only 3 cycles, in the 4th cycle we tried naturally and I got pregnant. I am in the 6th week of my pregnancy. Sometimes after taking Clomid, ovulation naturally occurs. Thanks to God. I pray to God for all trying for a baby, may you be blessed with a baby soon."

Clomid (clomiphene) "This is my second time trying this medication. Earlier this year, I was taking 50 mg once a day on days 5-9 and had sex days 9-14. No luck! So we're trying to give this another try, dosage has been increased to 100 mg a day on days 5-9 and sex on days 9-14. Really hope this works. I have PCOS, and my tubes were checked with dye to make sure they weren't blocked. My insurance company won't pay for medicine."

Clomid (clomiphene) "Happy, happy, happy! Thanks to Clomid, I lost hope that I would ever be pregnant, even after taking 50 mg the first month and 150 mg the second month. Then, boom! In February, I missed my period. I did a pregnancy test after missing my period for 2 weeks, and I got a positive pregnancy test, which is very dark in color. Thanks to the Creator of Clomid, I feel like a real woman now."

Clomid (clomiphene) "So in November 2019, I suffered a miscarriage at 6 weeks (first-time mom). My doctors reassured me it would be a walk in the park. Shock on me and hubby, we gave all we could, but nothing. In May 2020, we went to a gynecologist and HSG was recommended. I was told both tubes were blocked and chances of getting pregnant were close to zero. I blamed myself for the miscarriage. We visited a different gynecologist who suggested we do a procedure to open up the tubes. In November 2020, we went for the procedure. The attending doctor decided to do another HSG before the main procedure. Shock on everyone, my tubes were open (that was a miracle to us). The other procedure was canceled. Our gynecologist gave Clomid for 4 cycles, 50 mgs. We misread the prescription and did 2 cycles and gave up. When we re-read the prescription and noticed the doctor recommended 4 cycles, it was June 2021, and so we got another 50 mgs. In July, I missed my menses, and two days after, the test was positive."

Clomid (clomiphene) "My husband and I have been trying to conceive number 2 for 9 months. I have PCOS and was not ovulating on my own. My husband's tests also showed a low sperm count. Our first pregnancy was planned and conceived the first week of trying. This time has been much harder and very trying. My specialist recommended either Clomid or straight to IVF. I have been taking Clomid for 3 months, first month 50 mg did nothing and second month took 100 mg and ovulated but did not conceive. I definitely know when I ovulated while taking Clomid, it was very obvious. Just finished round 3, 100 mg. Also had side effects on Clomid such as hot flushes, mood swings, and dizziness. Very emotional this time round. Fingers crossed."

Clomid (clomiphene) "I'm on my second cycle on Clomid. I did ovulate my first cycle but didn't get pregnant. Now, second cycle and I'm on my CD10, going for ultrasound tomorrow and really hoping I get BFP this month. We have been TTC for 5 years, had 2 m/c 5 years ago, and trying ever since, was diagnosed with unexplained fertility. If I've ovulated on the first cycle on dosage 50 mg, does that mean that it's not necessary to go up with the dosage? I'm on 50 mg on my second cycle currently as well, staying positive, hope for the best and needs support. Thank you."

Clomid (clomiphene) "Have taken my 3rd dose of 100 mg of Clomid. I took all kinds of tests, and they have said I have unexplained infertility. I take it on days 5-9. I have done blood work and know I'm ovulating, trying to stay hopeful. I have a son and a daughter already in their teens, but want to have a baby with my husband as I remarried."

Clomid (clomiphene) "My husband and I have been TTC this time around for nearly two years. I just finished my second month of Clomid. I ovulated on the first and second months, but have not gotten pregnant. We are taking a month off from the medication because it has caused us to feel stressed. I'm reading a lot of success stories on here, so I'm hopeful that it will work for us. My doctor will only allow me to be on the medication for 3 cycles before she refers us to a specialist."

Clomid (clomiphene) "I've been trying to get pregnant again since 2019. We already have a 5-year-old, but I got the Skyla IUD after having my son. I had it for 3 years and got it taken out, but it caused my cycle to not come back normal. I was put on 500 mg of metformin once a day to see if it helped. It did a little bit and then stopped again, and then my new OB-GYN prescribed me metformin 1000 mg and Provera to start my cycle, and on day 3, start Clomid 50 mg. I’m praying it works for me. Please pray for me."

Clomid (clomiphene) "I found out about 3 years ago I have bad PCOS and not ovulating/low progesterone levels. I was put on 50 mg Clomid, and it didn’t work. I found out my follicle sacs are too small, therefore only holding immature eggs. My dose was upped to 100 mg. I had bad hot flushes, but still didn’t work. I have now been given 150 mg and will be taking my first tablet on day 2 of my cycle tomorrow, 9.11.19. I had 3 miscarriages with a previous partner 6 years ago. I’m guessing down to immature eggs, so fingers crossed this works... good luck to all of you, darlings, and sending baby dust ❤️"

"After 1 year of trying to conceive and unexplained infertility, I decided to visit an infertility clinic. The doctor did all checkups for me and my partner in 2 weeks, then put me on Clomid on days 5-9. I got a positive pregnancy test 2 weeks later. Can’t think of words for how thankful I am for the medical progress and technology today. Good luck, everyone."

Clomid (clomiphene) "Had a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks, and it’s been 8 months trying to get pregnant again. Started Clomid 50 mg, didn’t get pregnant. I stopped for a month and started another dose of 100 mg on January 12th to 16th. My side effects were mood swings, hot flashes, and mild headache, which stopped after the last Clomid. Well, I am on cycle day 28, been having period-like cramps, sore and bigger nipples, always horny, a bit of fatigue, which makes me a little lazy. I pray I get a positive test this time. Baby dust to us all."

Clomid (clomiphene) "My husband and I have been trying to conceive for the past two years. I don’t have regular cycles, my AMH confirmed PCOS with a level of 9.10. I’m currently taking metformin twice a day, aspirin 81 mg, and prenatal vitamins. I started 100 mg of Clomid on 11/09/2020 - 11/13/2020. I’m on CD 18 - 9 days after Clomid. We’re really hoping that we get a BFP this cycle! We’d love to give that surprise to our parents for Christmas! We have our first OB-GYN appointment with a highly recommended M.D. near the area on 12/04/20! This is around the time I should be expecting my next menses! I’m wishing us all luck in the end of the year and the beginning of the new! Baby dust to you all!"

Clomid (clomiphene) "I have been struggling to conceive since after my firstborn baby, who is fifteen now. I wanted a second child, and my doctor advised me to try Clomid. That was on August 17th, I started taking my Clomid for five days after three days of my menstrual period. Until now, I am not pregnant, instead, I had heavy bleeding with clots. My doctor prescribed Provera tablets, which didn't stop the heavy bleeding. Then he prescribed Primolut N, and then I eventually stopped bleeding. I am worried now, will I get pregnant, or do other women take long to conceive after taking Clomid?"

Clomid (clomiphene) "2 rounds of Clomid with BFNegatives (Big Fat Negative pregnancy test). First one 50 mg without any side effects. Second round on 100 mg with horrible side effects. I had such a pain I could not walk on the day of ovulation. At that cycle, I had all symptoms of pregnancy, so be aware of it and do not have hope until the test. Now I will be on 150 mg (3rd round) and I hope it will work."

"After over a year of trying to conceive but being unsuccessful due to PCOS, my OB-GYN prescribed Clomid to me. I had no side effects whatsoever. Even though she warned me it could make me mean, I wasn't. I didn't know if it was working for that fact alone. Did the deed many times during the ovulation period. Came up pregnant on my first dose. Everyone is different, but this was the push I needed to make a mini."

Clomid (clomiphene) "I did the test on 21st day of my cycle 2 months ago. I had ovulated, my GP still prescribed Clomid 50microgram twice daily from day 5 of my cycle. Not only it didn't help me get pregnant, I experienced some funny vision side effects it was like disco ball shiny light scattered all around me in a bright day. It also delayed my periods 5 to 7 days but not pregnant. I won't recommend it."

Clomid (clomiphene) "I took Clomid first cycle in April at a dose of 50 mg and second cycle in May was Clomid 100 mg & Metformin 100 mg with very many side effects like hot flashes, diarrhea, etc., and in all, I didn't succeed. I would like to take the third cycle in 150 mg and Metformin 100 mg. Though I wanted to give up, but when I read my friends' success stories, I was inspired. Pray for us, friends, so we become moms too."
