"I had a prostate infection and was prescribed Cipro XR for ten days. The infection cleared, but after taking the medication, I lost all sense of smell. I finished the course of antibiotics the second week in November 2017. I was told the anosmia (lack of smell) is temporary and my sense of smell would return, but it is now mid-May 2018 and I still have no smell and cannot taste any food that I eat."
