"Works well, but I’m my cases I’m always on it for one reason or another; septic, bladder/kidney infections, had a huge infection in my neck, that spread within 12 hours, couldn’t move my neck, right shoulder or arm, pneumonia, mrsa, staph, sci, infected bacterium port, etc. but I’m on it for at least a month at a time if not longer! Usually combined with different antibiotics too One lady on here was asking about demannose for bladder infections. Didn’t work for me.... it’s basically just sugar pills. Literally. Cystex works 10000000xs better! I take it at the first sign of pain, dark or cloudy urine... it is awesome & doesn’t have the red/orange staining properties like azo and other prescriptions like it like."

"I had an infected hair follicle that was starting to cause a line of redness to go up my arm, so the doctor wanted to get a jump on treating the infection because it was spreading quickly. They suggested the Rocephin shot. I got it in my right butt cheek and she told me it stung pretty good. She mixed it with lidocaine, and it was a big amount of the injection, so the stinging definitely sucked. But what got me was the feeling afterwards where it felt like I'd been injected with expanding insulation foam or something like that. It was a constant pressure and pain which eventually went away, but it almost made me pass out. I had to sit down and drink ice water while the nurse fanned me for almost 5 minutes straight to keep me conscious. I am needle phobic, but the needle itself wasn't what did it to me, but the swelling feeling in my butt after getting the shot. I definitely wouldn't do that again unless it was a situation where it was highly recommended for an urgent situation."

"I got the shot in my right buttock since I knew I like to sleep on my left and because she told me to expect some soreness for a day. I was worried about ceftriaxone's side effects. There weren't any for me. I literally forgot I was given it. The soreness was so minor it was like an awkwardly positioned bruise."

"My side effects were nightmares, drowsiness, shortness of breath, and racing heartbeat. All in all, not bad. Aspirin fixed it. I've had way worse antibiotics than this one."
