"Had psoriasis all over my hands, feet, and scalp 13 years ago and had tried everything for it, but it only got worse. I used this for a short time, and it cleared up my hands and feet quickly. My scalp cleared up by using Neutrogena medicated shampoos. None of it has come back since. I only know that it was this medication that cleared it up because I recently came across a couple of unused sample tubes that my dermatologist had given me and recognized this as what had worked to get rid of my psoriasis (about the 6th thing she had tried on me)."

"I used it in the early days of my psoriasis, and it worked wonders. I use it now because I've tried so many natural and Rx meds that did worse for me. It has cleared my plaque psoriasis totally, and a trick I learned from my doctor is to put some water on the skin, and it will spread more easily, and you'll use less of the cream. It doesn't take much to work. Make sure if you're taking supplements that you get off them, especially vitamin D3. You will notice deep dark scars from the plaques, but they will eventually fade over time. I'll put up with the bruised look rather than the silvery scales. Also, you can use a foundation makeup (yes, I am a guy) to cover them up. I got that secret from my wife. Everything is fine and cleared up."

"I have pretty bad psoriasis all over my body since I was 5. I am in my 40s now. This stuff was amazing. It cleared up all my patches within a week, and it took quite a while for them to start coming back after I stopped using it. Sadly, now I am out, and unfortunately, you need a prescription for this."

"I had severe psoriasis on my whole scalp for many years. I tried many topicals over the years, nothing helped. Then I had a severe outbreak of redness on my upper body one year, and the dermatologist gave me a topical that healed it. After that, he gave me Dovonex scalp solution and a prescription tar shampoo to use on my scalp. That night I used the tar shampoo and Dovonex and saw improvement. It was gone in less than 2 weeks. My psoriasis is gone, it's been 5 years. I highly recommend these 2 medicines."

"I've used Dovonex for about 20 years. I LOVE IT! It has never made the psoriasis go completely away. It did come close, though. Maybe if I could afford to use it as prescribed, it would, but at $238.00 a tube, the cheapest around my area, I just can't afford it. I stretch a tube till it's just keeping the takeover at bay instead of driving it away! Dovonex truly works wonders."

"I must be in the 10% who react to Dovonex. I have mild plaque psoriasis on my scalp, and this cream made it so much worse! After one week of usage, my whole scalp was inflamed and scaly, as well as a nice ring around my face. Even my ears! The literature says this will happen in 10% of cases. Lucky me. I discontinued immediately."

"I think Dovonex is fantastic! I had psoriasis on my elbow/forearm area... and it was getting worse. I was then prescribed the Dovonex cream, and it was completely gone within a couple of weeks. I never had to finish the tube. In fact, I would recommend not continuing the cream after it clears so that you don't build up an intolerance to it. But I highly recommend taking a high-quality D3 supplement. I know women that take 5,000-10,000 mg a day. We have become extremely deficient in D3, and many illnesses and diseases are a result of the deficiency."

"My doctor recommended this Dovonex cream for my psoriasis. It immediately burned, and soon I was itching more. Areas of redness tripled in size. I continued for a week, thinking this might be a healing response because sores peeled. I should have stopped immediately because it made my psoriasis much worse and spread the areas affected. Had to use cortisone to bring down the inflammation. It was an expensive, painful experiment costing over $200. Afterward, I have been using Protopic successfully. Would rate it -1 if I could, since it made the skin worse."

"This medication actually made my psoriasis worse. It made my skin itch, and I recommend that you talk to your doctor and see if this medication is truly right for you. I have heard that it worked wonders for a lot of people. It just didn't work for me."

"On the 8th of December, it was announced that the evidence for vitamin D as a preventative measure against COVID-19 is stacking up. Vitamin D synthesis gives rise to calcium for our bones, however, an overdose of vitamin D can be catastrophic for our bodies. I suffer from severe psoriasis, and the only treatment that works is 360g of Dovonex (synthetic vitamin D) per fortnight. My doctor will now only prescribe me 240g of Dovonex per fortnight, stating new health warnings. I have been putting 180g of Dovonex on my skin each week for nearly 5 years, and I have not had one side effect. Everyone's body reacts differently, the doctor and Leo (Dovonex company) keep telling me. Well, if this is true, should it not be the doctor deciding on how much Dovonex I should be prescribed? My psoriasis is now on a downward spiral to the hospital. Thanks :-("

"This is preposterous. Dovonex is the best thing since sliced bread. My usual prescription is 200g of Dovonex per week with no symptoms in nearly 10 years. Dovonex is the only treatment that works for my skin. Now my prescription has been reduced to 100g per week due to new health warnings, my psoriasis is starting to split open. I should be going to the hospital for regular redressing. Hello, Covid-19. My only choice now is to try to heal my psoriasis by consuming lots of vitamin D supplements. The only problem is that consuming too much vitamin D can lead to a calcium imbalance. Thank you, LEO, for putting me at high risk of a calcium imbalance."

"Dovonex is the only treatment that works for psoriasis, and it works perfectly. But now that I am being given less than usual because of these silly new health warnings, it is time for me to change to vitamin D3 supplements. The only thing is that I have to take a lot of them to work for psoriasis."

"This product works well with effective results. Unlike creams or ointments, which are difficult to apply to the scalp within the hair and leave the hair greasy, this product seems to evaporate, leaving the hair dry with no stickiness."

"It cleared up my psoriasis completely. The only drawback is that I built up a tolerance to it, and it became ineffective after about 3 or 4 years of use."

"I had psoriasis on my elbows and I was prescribed Dovonex. It does the job, as in, it gets rid of it, but as soon as I stop using it, the psoriasis returns. To be expected, I think. It works in short."

"Have been using this for 2 years. It does work to control the areas, but only while using it. When I stop, the spots come back as normal. Thankfully, it does temporarily work."
