For Eye Redness "It’s allergy season and my eyes get minor redness and I’ll use Visine. We received a sample of Lumify in the mail and I decided to try it out one Friday while getting ready to attend an outside wedding. After applying Lumify in each eye, I immediately had an itchy nose. On the car ride to the wedding I wanted to itch the inside of my nose like crazy! This continued throughout the night. Next day, my left eye duct was clogged , red and swollen . I am beyond upset! Do another use this product ! I will be seeing my doctor tomorrow ."

For Eye Redness "I was blown away by Lumify when I first used it, I’ve never seen my eyes so white before! I’ve been using it for 6-7 months now, but the side effects are so bad I have to stop. It worked great at first, but eyes began to be bloodshot unless I used it, & it began wearing off fast making it so I’d have to use it 1-3 times per day. My eyes are constantly red and burning now, I get relief if I put the drops in but then it wears off fast & burns a lot when it wears off. It burns a bit when they’re white too. Scary part is lately my vision has been SO blurry, when I’ve always had perfect vision. To the point where I can’t read the next street sign or the car license plate in front of me. Going in to get my vision checked and hoping these damages aren’t going to be permanent. I didn’t realize this can happen from the eye drops, I would’ve stopped a long time ago. They MUST include some warning! Also when I began using Lumify, visine stopped working. Strange."

For Eye Redness "I have had moderate eye floaters for years, but with one use of Lumify it seemed to worsen. About 2 hours after applying one drop to each eye, I started seeing a noticeable increase of floaters in my field of vision. I have used Visine for years and never experienced this."

For Eye Redness "I just used these eye drops for the first time this morning, then took a shower. I was stunned to see when I looked in the mirror that the whites of my eyes were actually WHITE !!! I'm 64 years old and have had a lot of trouble with red, watery, itchy eyes just in the last year. Hands down, the best eye drops I've ever used, and I've used MANY!!"

For Eye Redness "I, too , noticed that there is absolutely ZERO difference in the size or the amount of product when I purchased both of them (.25 and the .75 bottles). It’s totally scandalous and I’m not sure how they (the makers) get away with this. On another note, I was amazed at how quickly my eyes whitened when using the product (about a year now) but now using it for this length of time it seems like the drops are making my red eyes worse. I definitely have to use more than one drop to get the red out and the effect doesn’t last long at all anymore. I’m beginning to think that there is more to these drops then what’s being shared with us.. I’m planning on discontinuing use for a while so that I can determine if Lumify is actually making my eyes worse or not."

For Eye Redness "After using Lumify, my visual acuity decreased significantly overnight. I am still in the process of visiting ophthalmologist to prevent legal blindness. I am concerned. Extremely worried. They should not have this product on the market."

"I used Lumify for about two years every day. It initially reduced the redness in my eyes. After a year I started getting horrible hemorrhagic blood capillary bursts. My entire eye would turn red following the burst. I went to my optometrist who said my eyes were fine and it was not caused by the lumify so I continued to use it. I continued to get broken capillaries and red eyes. I have not used Lumify in about five months however, I still get the hemorrhagic burst in my eye every few months. I am hoping my eyes will heal and that the Lumify has not caused permanent damage. This has caused me stress and anxiety and just want others to be aware this could happen to you."

"I have used Lumify once a day for a few weeks. My eyes were always cleared up by it within minutes. On Wednesday of this week, I used Lumify in the morning and noticed that there was a spot that was still bloodshot. By early afternoon, I had developed a subconjunctival hemorrhage in my eye. I went to the eye doctor the very next day as the blood is pooling between the layers on my eye, causing a bump along the bottom of my eye and my eyelid pulls on it when I move my eye. It is now Saturday and the hemorrhage still appears to be bleeding. Initially my eye was only half red. Now my entire eye is red with blood pooling under my bottom eyelid again. Hopefully this will heal on its own."

For Eye Redness "Bought these since I heard great things. Like others, it worked great for a week or two (and didn’t even use it everyday) but now whenever I put it in my left eye has a subjunctive hemorrhage in the same exact spot every time since I started it. Not worth it."

For Eye Redness "I believe that this product is DANGEROUS to use. After the first few days of using it I began to experience black floaters in both my eyes. I blew it off as maybe something else like stressful situations but I discontinued using it just to make sure. The floaters disappeared. About 10 days later I was going out of town for a reunion and wanted to look my best. I used the Lumify for 2 days and not only did the floaters come back but I developed a nasty broken vessel in the corner of my eye that lasted for a week. My doctor told me that he has had other patients that had BAD side effects from this product. I'd like to open a class action law suit against the company. My eyes have been extremely dry and red since."

For Eye Redness "I was prescribed Lumify by my optometrist for treating my chronic red eye. It works like a charm! I only put one drop in each eye every morning and the red completely disappears! I never exceed a single drop in each eye per day so maybe that's why some have worse side effects than others? For those who say the FDA cut corners to put this out or think it should be recalled...remember that one size does not fit all. The possible side effects are clearly listed on the information given with the drops and EVERY over-the-counter product is "use at your own risk". I probably would not have tried this if not recommended by my eye doctor, but if it's good enough for a professional, it's good enough for me!"

For Eye Redness "Wow! I have tried every redness dry eye and allergy eye drop and this is literally the ONLY thing that works for me and it works instantly! Not only does the redness completely disappear but also my eyes feel better! Been using for about 2 months now and don’t know how I would love without it! Highly recommend!"

For Eye Redness "Amazing. I wear contacts and work a desk job so staring at the monitor all day is a given. These make such a difference in the comfort of my eyes. They don't feel or look strained. My eyes are clear and bright beyond 8 hours. I would have happily given them a 10 but they are So expensive."

For Eye Redness "I’ve used these eye drops for almost 3 months now. They really helped my red dry eyes, however I noticed that I was getting a bald spot the size of a thumb on the back of my head. I’m not sure if hair loss/alopecia is a side effect but I will stop using these eye drops for the time being and evaluate if they are related."

For Eye Redness "After using Lumify for 1-2 months for red eyes due to allergies- just one drop per day, I experienced a subconjunctival hemorrhage which is a frightening looking broken blood vessel in your eye. I also had several headaches and took advil---but did not attribute it to the drops until I read some of the posts. I threw the Lumify away never to use again."

For Eye Redness "Used Lumify as a typical eye drop for dry eyes in ONE eye and after a couple days had a floater/light flash attack in ONE EYE that came on suddenly. Felt like I had globs in my eye too. Went to the doctor and they said it was typical old age (I'm 57). Symptoms gradually got better but didn't completely go away. Didn't relate it to Lumify until I started using the product again in my one eye (one eye weeps constantly) and SAME symptoms came back! Do not use this product!! It's putting poison in your eye!!"

For Eye Redness "This was recommended by my eye doctor. I used Lumify only one drop maybe once a week to go out. Yesterday I applied one drop to each eye to go out. About an hour later I noticed a subconjunctival hemorrhage in the outer corner of my right eye. This morning my entire eye is bright red. I looked up the side effects and this was listed as an infrequent side effect. I have no other risk factors: I didn't cough, sneeze, vomit, strain, rub, no foreign object, no hypertension, no diabetes, and take nothing that causes bleeding or bruising. This should be taken off the market."

For Eye Redness "I experienced the rebound effect after long term use. My eyes became addicted to the drops and were always RED. I thought it was the only thing helping my redness short term, but it was what was harming me. This is not good for long term use. Please be warned!"

For Eye Redness "I used Lumify sporadically a few times for special occasions. But yesterday I used it and immediately got a headache on the left side of my head. A few hours later in now have a hemorrhage in my left eye! Along with these two issues I also got tension in the muscles of my shoulders. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!"

For Eye Redness "Started out okay I guess. My eyes definitely looked more vibrant. I thought the small pupil thing was normal and I guess it is for some people who use these drops. Now I have symptoms of something called anterior uveitis and need to be seen by an opthalmologist asap. Mishaped pupil in my left eye, pain, redness by my iris that's new, etc... It's really scary and I've never experienced anything like this before using lumify. Uveitis is a potentially blinding condition if left untreated so I'm scared now and all because I used an over the counter drop I thought would be safe."

For Eye Redness "Glad I decided to try this eye drop. It started working almost instantly. Just bought it about an hour ago and my one eye that was bloodshot red and I mean like a tomato is almost cleared up. This stuff is amazing. Worked better than Maximum Clear Eyes and that is also a good product. I will always buy this from now on. Only downfall is the bottle is tiny for the price. It was still worth buying. Don't let the negative reviews deter you from trying it out for yourself."

For Eye Redness "I’m shocked to read the bad reviews and sorry they had that experience. I always have these drops on hand, as a 47-year-old that works shift work and always has bloodshot eyes, I found these drops amazing. I’ve never had anything happen and even have contacts. Just pop them out, take the drops, and pop them back in around the 10-15 minute mark, and my eyes are so bright and have had so many compliments. So I’ll say thank you and still say it’s worth a try :)"

For Eye Redness "As someone who has always suffered from dry, red eyes I've been an avid visine/rhotos user. So when I saw the commercial for lumify I was interested. I thought it was too expensive at first, but suddenly there was a change to allow these to be paid for with FSA/HSA $. As with others, this product worked great at first. But over time, my eyes became dependent and I developed a tolerance to them until I had to use them several times a day. Now they look worse than they originally did and sometimes using them doesn't do anything at all for me. They also feel continuously dry, swollen and generally irritated. No other eye drops work anymore, and now a year in, I finally read the reviews. Wondering if/when my eyes will ever return to normal... DON'T FALL FOR THIS TRAP."

For Eye Redness "I started using Lumify for 5 days. It did clear up my red eyes within minutes. When I put my contacts in after 10 minutes, within minutes they were just as red as usual I'm assuming from pollen allergies. This happened every time I used the eye drops, plus now I am having problems seeing as well with my contacts. Don't know if the two are related somehow, but I threw away whatever eye drops were left. Will not use Lumify again."
