"One day I had problem with my breathing , so after medical intervention I needed Cardioversion of which I was given Bisoprolol. From the start of being on this I have had major itching and now having muscle spasms in my neck so as of now I am not taking said drug. The worst moment was when I started taking this drug my skin was so itchy that it made me feel like peeling my skin of my body - might be rare but that is my view."

"I am pleased with the effects of this medication. I am on a low dose of 2.5 mg and use it in combination with an ACE inhibitor. I am now trying to just depend on the beta blocker- Bisoprolol. I appreciate that it has a slight anti-anxiety component as having sudden hypertension often brings with it, some anxiety."

"Not really sure how much this is helping me. Heart disease, STEMI heart attack...99% blockage 2 days on bathroom floor thought it was food poisoning but turned out way worse. Have moderate tissue damage and now have recurrent palpitations so trying to get it all squared away. Was on many different types of beta blockers, so many that my HR was low 30's"

"Terrible experience. Within ninety minutes of taking 2 mg dose, severe palpitations and pain around left pectoral and left shoulder. Significant discomfort lasted for around four hours. Stopped taking completely after two days. Previously on Metoprolol 50 mg daily, with no similar adverse effects, other than cold feet and hands after 6 weeks of medication. Male, 55 to 60 years."

"My symptoms were diarrhea, light-headedness, low blood pressure, and finally swelling of my left foot and the left side of my face. I noticed that the upper right side of my lip was askew. That made me think that I might have had a mini-stroke. I went off the meds myself and I think that I was right. Three years later, I do know that the left side of my face is marginally still swollen. My doctor did not see the swelling when it was more prominent. I insisted that he change my meds."

"APO Bisoprolol, is for me is an absolute BLOOD PRESSURE BUSTER. Prior to taking this brand my average BP was on average 160/80-90. Now it is a consistent 116/68. I’ve found taking it 5.0 mgs early morning & 2.5 mgs in evening has allowed me to achieve these current results. It’s only downside is some irritation to abdomen which is a small price to pay l say. I am planning to adjust to 2.5mgs after each meal which I will trial with Cardiologist advice…Will post again after 3 months with results."

"PT has been on the this drug for 1 year- he has been having sudden fall for once in one month. ECG shows RBBB but no mark of drop beat. Dr stopped concor 2.5 and told to go in for pacemaker implantaion. Another doctor's opinion taken - advised as there is no episode of fall after stoppage of concor- hence go for Holter Monitoring and Wait."

"I have been taking bisoprolol for three weeks now. It has helped me immensely to bring down my blood pressure, No other medication did this for me. But now I am getting headaches and extremely tired. I am praying this gets better as it has big time disruptions to my daily routine. I also take Candesartan , and amlodipine. All low doses . I have been on the other two for many years. Bisoprolol keeps me out of the hospital with counts of 180/98 up to 200. Talk about anxiety. I don’t want to stop but really hoping these headaches and tiredness goes away. I am 74 . I rated a 8 because of my new blood pressure. Not so good for the two side effects."

"Been on this for three weeks now. It’s great for keeping my blood pressure normal . Gone through the headaches but now for a week my body is sore and weak. It’s hard to move about. I will be talking to my doc. I really don’t want to go off because of good blood pressure. I was in the hospital weekly and very scared. I'm on a low dose 2.5 daily."
