Akineton (biperiden) for Extrapyramidal Reaction "I got extrapyramidal reactions from two different antipsychotics: Vraylar and Abilify. This medication has been my saving grace! The tremors were gone with one tablet per day (the half-life is 18 to 24 hours!) and it helped with the akathisia too. One con is that towards the end of my reaction to Vraylar, it started to make me restless, and I had to use propranolol instead. I didn't get any other side effects though, but it would've been worth it even if I did."
