"I used a petrolatum jelly product containing benzethonium chloride called Bag Balm on my lips nightly for several months. It works to soften and prevent chapped lips. In the past week I noted my lips were feeling quite numb and tingly all the time. I have stopped use but the numbness is persisting, hopefully will lessen over time. I don't have sensitive skin or history of allergies or other conditions that might cause lip numbness."
