For Computed Tomography "Do not take this test unless you absolutely need to. I was constipated right after. I felt like I couldn't belch or pass gas. I ran to the bathroom a lot, only to pass small, tiny stools. I have been on several different laxatives. Then I was only getting tiny, loose bowel movements. I ended up going to the ER, they did an X-ray and CT, and both looked okay. Blood work looked okay, they took urine. It is day 7. I am on day 2 of my period now, not bleeding hardly any in my pad, only when I wipe. Yesterday I had severe cramps all day. I feel so full I can barely eat. I am bloated. It doesn't feel right. Don't do the test."

For Computed Tomography "After reading reviews, I was scared. SCARED TO DEATH, SCARED. I even canceled my appointment 2x. I got the banana flavor, and it's like drinking banana water with a small splash of milk in it. That's the best I can describe it. It wasn't terrible. I made sure to shake well and to drink it as cold as possible. Also, I used a wide straw, bigger straw than they gave me, so it was faster to drink. I found it really wasn't that hard to drink it. I felt a slight bit of nausea in the beginning, but honestly, I'm going to chuck that up to my nerves. It subsided quickly as soon as I was distracted. I can, however, feel 'bubbles' or a mild kicking-like (for us moms out there) sensation that has lasted for hours. No other issues, besides I feel gassy. But haven't 'gone' or run to the bathroom. I also had the iodine IV done with this. I really wish I'd done so instead of being so frightened by the reviews. It is really not that bad so far, but I guess we will see about tonight and tomorrow."

For Computed Tomography "I had to drink two bottles before a CT scan, one bottle 2 hours before, and one bottle 1 hour before the scan. I had no side effects with the first bottle. After the second bottle, I did experience bowel urgency 3 times before the scan. However, on the plus side, the CT scan was very quick compared to when doing with/without contrast scans. I only had the CT machine do two passes and I was done, in all of 5 minutes. I did have to use the bathroom four more times after the scan, but there were no cramps or discomfort. I was able to eat dinner and had no stomach issues. This was my first time using this, and I was a bit nervous reading some reviews. However, my experience was pretty good."

For Computed Tomography "I am the worst when it comes to taking medicine, ESPECIALLY in liquid form, so needless to say, I have been DREADING drinking this since it was given to me 3 days ago. However, I absolutely need my CT scan to go well, so I knew that someway, somehow, I would have to drink both of these bottles. To my wonderful surprise, my fears were unwarranted. It doesn’t really taste like anything. It is thick, so if you have a problem with texture, that might cause a little issue, but think of it as a watered-down milkshake. I drank the first bottle (just now) in less than 10 mins. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not about to order it with my meal the next time I go out or anything, but it really isn’t that bad at all. It is filling, though, so I recommend not filling up with water or food right before you drink it, or you may have trouble getting it all in. But don’t be afraid…this product has come A LONG WAY!"

For Computed Tomography "I had to drink one bottle of the Berry smoothie. It wasn't as bad as what my coworkers told me it would taste like. Had a hard time getting it down because it made me feel full very quickly. Almost made me vomit. The rest of the day went okay, other than a major headache. The next day I couldn't stop going to the bathroom, but the nurse did say if I hadn't had a bowel movement in 48 hours to call my GP. Needless to say, I haven't had to call her."

For Computed Tomography "7:30 am I went to complete my GI checkup. I believe the whole procedure is a bit different in China. We don't have to take extra doses the night before the test, and we take much fewer portions (200-250 cc, a full paper cup in total). It was hard to swallow at first, but tolerable. I drank half of the cup before the test and took the few sips left during the test. I experienced a gassy, stretchy feeling afterward, and the gas persisted for a few hours. I did feel so nauseous that I ate nothing but a hard candy for breakfast. Fortunately, I didn't get diarrhea as expected. It's important to drink plenty of water to avoid constipation. So, don't cancel your appointment for concern over those side effects. They do happen but are still rare. I'm glad that the test has revealed the cause of my upset stomach. The outcomes sure outweigh these weaknesses."

For Computed Tomography "Taste wasn't bad. I had berry flavor. Only problem was that it caused me to run to the bathroom ten times. Luckily, the radiology office wasn't too far from my house. Other than that, no other side effects, and the cat scan was done in 5 minutes."

Barium sulfate for Computed Tomography "This was not the awful regimen I've gone through previously. The taste was much better than all the others. It didn't upset my stomach or cause diarrhea. I was told I could refrigerate it and I did, I think that tasted better. Overall, it was an excellent improvement from previous times."

For Computed Tomography "Chose the mochaccino flavor, and it wasn't bad at all, aside from a strange sensation in the throat after swallowing. Smaller sips worked best for me. I got a bit nauseated at the amount that needed to be consumed, but I got it all down without too much of an issue. It did cause me to have diarrhea three times during the course of the first bottle. Second bottle, one more trip to the restroom. Then just a LOT of gas that slowly started to build up. Came home, felt tired, and took a nap, and have been extremely gassy all night. Otherwise, it was not a bad experience. Not nearly as nasty as that Clenpiq stuff you drink for colon prep. Don't recommend making any plans for 24 hours after consumption in case you have tummy issues as a result as well."

For Computed Tomography "Barium swallow test for difficulty swallowing. The contrast mixture was very thick and had a chalky taste. I gagged twice due to the unpleasant taste and thick consistency. The test was successful."
