"Have frequent sinus infections & have been prescribed Augmentin XR whenever I have a severe sinus infection for about the past 17 years now. It always has done the job & taken care of the infection. The only downside is the GI side effects (i.e. stomach cramps, diarrhea, etc)."

"In the past 3-4yrs, I’ve had reoccurring sinus infections I’ve taken Augmentin XR years ago, for several years w/no side-effects aside from fatigue. This year, I was prescribed keflex a lot & it was so much better, no issues. I’ve had sinus infect 11/23, &Dr prescribed Augmentin XR but side effects are so bad! From, g.I. issues and mentally feeling off. Depression, anxiety severe, by 11/26 I can’t leave house. No focus & I have to go to clinic, I’m miserable & just want keflex!"
