"This product is AMAZING! I am a 13-year-old, and I have been sweating a lot since 6th grade. I told my mom a week ago that I can't take sweating anymore. So embarrassing in school. No one really notices me sweating because I would always wear a jacket, even in the summertime! So I called my doctor, and she told me she would prescribe Hypercare. Well, I used it the first night, and wow, the next morning I didn't sweat a bit. I can wear any color now, but every night I put it on, it burns or itches, but mostly it itches. It's worth it, trust me. So thank you so much, Hypercare, and yes, I do recommend it to anybody who sweats a lot."

"I've had hyperhidrosis for as long as I can remember (5/6 years old, my mom noticed first). My problem areas are my hands and feet. 24 now, but growing up and going to school was a total mess for me. I hated it. The equivalent to that are my job interviews now. I developed social anxiety and anxiety in general. I ruined so many pairs of shoes, and I could never wear sandals or dress cute because my ankles would show my sweat also. Could never get my nails done either, ugh. Anywho, I tried Drysol for the first time last night. No side effects, although my hands and feet feel a little dry this morning (8 am). I normally start sweating for no reason as soon as I wake up... no sweat just yet. I'll update later. Running out of room :)"

"I have used this for 6 years, and it really works. I used to have wet armpits all the time, and not only is it embarrassing, but it ruins my clothes. Put this on at night, generously, and I promise the next day you will remain dry and confident! I don't even have to use it every night... I only use it every 3 nights!"

"I originally was prescribed Drysol over a year ago, but after reading about the side effects (rash, stinging, itching), I was too afraid to use it. Well, after years of dealing with excessive armpit sweat, I decided to give it a try. I bought a lot of black shirts. I'm not going to lie, it definitely stings and itches pretty bad. But it's so, so worth it. After two applications, I went for a hard run, and I was sweating everywhere else from my body EXCEPT my armpits. It's truly a miracle. I can't tell you how freeing it feels to be able to go out in public wearing a yellow shirt with sleeves and not having to worry about sweating. Give it a try!"

"I suffered with hyperhidrosis for years. I could be shivering cold, and my armpits would still be pouring sweat. Wearing gray was out of the question! Then I found an antiperspirant containing aluminum chloride: not to be overdramatic... but it changed my life! At first, I dealt with the unbearable itching and irritation. After a while, I learned to use less and only apply it at night. After a couple of months of daily use, I reduced to every other day... then every few days... and after a year, I eventually just stopped using it because the problem seemed to disappear completely. That was 15 years ago! To this day, I still do not sweat under my arms unless I'm really exerting myself... and still, it's such a small amount. Less than 'normal' people."

"I began sweating as soon as I started college-probably from the mass amount of stress I'm always under. Anywho, this product is amazing. I literally would be sitting in a normal temperature room, and sweat would just be streaming from my armpits down the sides of my body. I started using this, and from day one, absolutely no sweat. Not even at the gym. It does sting a little bit, but as far as I'm concerned, a little bit of stinging far outweighs the low self-confidence, paranoia, and constant clamminess of my body. I 100% recommend this product to anyone."

"I have suffered from excessive underarm sweating since hitting puberty. It was very discouraging. Many girls my age would have the absolute cutest outfit, and I, however, could not wear it because it would show my sweat stains almost immediately. I would wear light-colored shirts so that you could not see them quickly, or large shirts, layers of shirts. It did not matter if it was 100 degrees or 30 degrees, I would sweat profusely. I tried many things. I finally discovered this product and no longer have to worry about my sweating. I no longer feel the need to constantly hide my underarms. I can wear anything I want to wear. I have been using this product for over 3 years now, and at 24, I have finally overcome my excessive sweating."

"I sincerely recommend this product to any individual suffering from hyperhidrosis. All throughout my childhood, I suffered from excessive sweating on my scalp and underarms. For those of you who've felt publicly victimized by this condition, you are not alone. WARNING to first-time users: I would recommend using the regular 12% or mild 6.5% aluminum chloride formula initially. I myself initially utilized the extra strong formula, which contained 20% aluminum chloride, and during the first night of application, I genuinely felt the most excruciating pain I have ever experienced in my entire life! Start off with the less concentrated formulas or start applying small amounts initially and gradually increase the amount being applied. TRUST ME!"

"This medication is amazing! Since I was about 15, I have sweated on my back like crazy! Always having to wear an undershirt to try and hide it. In the last few years, I started to sweat like crazy around my forehead. Just sitting, doing nothing, sweat would pour down my face and back. Stopped going places because I was so mortified by it. I asked my doctor for help, and he prescribed Hypercare. Didn't like it at first because it burned so much. I kept using it every night for a week, and the burning has stopped. I no longer wear undershirts. I can go anywhere now, and I no longer sweat at all. It's been a huge life changer. It's a freedom that I can't explain unless you have suffered from hyperhidrosis."

"When I was in middle school, it is hard if you have hyperhidrosis. Your self-confidence is way low, and I can NEVER wear shirts without a jacket over it to hide the pit stains. It really did suck. I started using Drysol in the sixth grade because of my excessive sweating, and it's been helping ever since. The first week of using it, there is going to be itching, but after a few days, it should be fine. Do not use it after shaving, or don't put too much on, and that's what will cause the burning sensation everyone's talking about. Use a small amount, dry it via air or a hair dryer, and you should be fine to go to bed. There is no point in using this product every single night. I suggest it!"

"Okay: typical story. I would cry because I couldn't wear red, and so on and so forth. Anyway, I'm currently on day three of using this. Night one: it burned and itched a bit, but nothing major, and the next day-you guessed it-no sweating. Zip. Zilch. Played ping pong for literally two hours and was dry as the Sahara. Night two: I showered and, without thinking, shaved, dried off thoroughly, and applied the Drysol. I was shaking. My armpits felt like the frickin' sun, and I was considering writing my will. Day two: my pits hurt so bad that I couldn't lift my arms. Night three: showered, but definitely didn't shave. Burns unbelievably, and itches like sandpaper, but I believe that's because I basically slaughtered my sweat glands by shaving."

"I sweat mostly everywhere. Pits aren't the only place. It's my face, chest, back of my thighs, groin area, hands, feet... you get it. I've been like this since puberty, and it got a lot worse (of course) after I started working out regularly. I use Drysol mostly on my armpits maybe twice a week, and I don't sweat at all. I apply it very lightly and only directly where I actually perspire from (the center of my pit), and then rub it around a little by doing a circular, funky chicken-like movement. For everywhere else, I only use it maybe once a month, it's effective for a couple of days. For my face (forehead, nose, and very lightly above my upper lip), I use a cotton ball as the applicator dispenses too much at a time. The itchiness is killer, though!!!!!"

"I have never done a review like this, but I feel I should. I have had a major pit sweating problem for the last year or so. Went to the doctor yesterday for an unrelated issue. While there, I brought up the underarm sweating issue I've been having. I assumed he'd say to change my diet or change soaps, etc., instead, he prescribed this for me. I picked up the prescription that night and went home to try it. I was absolutely amazed. Immediately after I cleaned and applied, no more sweating. None. Zippo. Nada. Today, just one day after the first application, I've been dry as a bone all day. All day I've been checking and couldn't believe I was still dry. Amazing stuff. I'm blown away. Thought this was just something I'd have to deal with, but I guess not."

"I’ve had excessive sweating and odor problems since I was 13 (I’m 22). After trying every home remedy and clinical strength antiperspirant, I asked my doctor about Drysol. She prescribed it, and it has changed my life! I can now wear T-shirts and bright clothes without worrying about pit stains and odor. The day of my first application, I sweat a little less than normal. I continued the recommended applications for the first 3 days. After that, my sweating decreased more, but I still wasn’t getting the results I wanted. I applied it every 3rd day for about 2 weeks. At the end of the second week, my sweating was under control. I stopped sweating as much, even during exercise! I now apply it once every 10-14 days or so. I’ve realized that it burns when you’re using too much. The instructions say don’t use any other antiperspirant or deodorant during use, but I apply an aluminum-free deodorant daily between applications. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!"

"I have used Certain Dri for probably about 20 years. It stopped my underarm sweating, which was the worst for me. I still have sweating on my hands and feet, but I can deal with that. Right now, I've burned my underarms with it and am wondering if I will be able to continue using it. I don't want to stop using it and have it ever start again. I wonder if others have had similar issues with it. It was almost like a miracle to me when I stumbled upon it so many years ago."

"I just want to share this because I didn't see it on any other post. I've been using Drysol for over two weeks now on my forehead and scalp (yeah, weird place to sweat, I know), and it has been awesome. Before this, I would always get salty sweat into my eyes while playing sports or dancing... that time has gone! Thanks, Drysol!"

"I have had hyperhidrosis since I was young, it started at 15 and now, 69. I suffered with this condition all my life, only shirts that hid the wetness. I used this when I was 30 for a week, it stopped the sweating under my arms for years. I have not used it for over 40 years. I still have not had any underarm sweating. However, I have suffered 10 years of sweating on my upper body, mostly chest, face, and neck. I went to a dermatologist, asked for a prescription for Drysol. I put it on underarms, my entire chest area, and sides of upper body the first night, yes, it was itchy, it's worth it. I used petroleum jelly on the areas that itched a lot, it helped. The next night, I put some on my neck areas and also some areas on my face. Some areas of my neck were quite itchy but worth it. I do not know why I haven't used this product again until now, it has totally kept my upper body from sweating. I am now looking forward to going back to wearing shirts of any color and not being embarrassed to be around people again."

"I have been dealing with sweaty palms since the 3rd grade. I never understood why I was so different. I couldn't wear cute sandals because my feet would slip and slide. I couldn't hold my husband's hand without drenching his. I am now 32, live in hot, humid Florida, so I finally decided to ask my dermatologist what can help. I used this stuff twice on my feet and was amazed that I wore sandals and did not slip out of them - total life changer."

"I am glad my dermatologist prescribed this for me to use on my armpits. Initially, I tried using it once a day, and it broke me out, and I had the itchy-stinging side effect. From there on, I learned to use it about every 2 days, and it keeps me dry along with another prescribed topical treatment. I also use Drysol for my oily face, and it works! It calms my oily glands, and it produces less oil, especially on my nose. If you use Drysol on your face, test it on a small area of your face with a cotton ball. I don't use it every day on my face. I only use it once a week on my face and every other day on my nose. My results were minimal oil production on my face and no need to blot my face throughout the day."

"The doctor gave me prescription-strength Drysol. It hasn't burned or irritated my skin at all. It works amazingly. I sweat between my legs where it looks like I wet my pants. I put it in the folds, and it has worked wonders. Hope this helps others with this embarrassing problem."

"Life-changing. I am a 30-year-old female. I have suffered from excessive sweating since I was at least 13. I have never told anyone about it. Somehow, I managed grade school, high school, college, work, and hid it. I don't shake hands, and I always wear dark shirts. My areas are hands, feet, and underarms. I'm married now, and somehow, for the most part, avoided holding hands with my husband. I have a 2-year-old daughter now, and I was determined to find something that worked so I would never feel like I couldn't hold her hand. I saw a dermatologist for the first time ever on April 23rd. The next day, I didn't sweat a drop. Today is day 2, and I have no words for the relief I feel. I feel normal. I feel like my silent suffering is over."

"This product is amazing. I had very intense armpit sweating (the armpit area would be soaked with sweat, just from me sitting still or doing anything) since I was 13 or so, and I am 27 now. The dermatologist prescribed this last week, and it is my third day using it today, and I have had no sweat at all since the first time I put this stuff on. Seriously, it is bone dry!! For once! I am so happy I don't have to wear only black tops anymore and can now wear pretty and colorful tops without worrying that someone will see the sweat stains. It is a miracle, and I now feel so much more confident and free. To anyone who has this issue, please try it, it really does work well. Additionally, I didn't experience the burning or itching others have described."

"In 1988, I went to my doctor for something unrelated to my excessive sweating. When we were finished, he asked if there was anything else. That's when I mentioned my extreme underarm sweating and how I ruined shirts and jackets. He directed me to Drysol, which does not require a prescription in Ontario. I have been using it for over 25 years and confirm that it does the job. I have never had even a bit of wetness. I put it on about every two weeks. A small bottle costs about $22 and lasts at least 2 years. Yes, it does burn and itch at times due to the aluminum chloride, but it's a small price to pay. Make sure you wash the treated area the next morning with soap and water. A little talcum or baby powder afterwards takes away any clammy feeling."

"I have been using Drysol for almost three weeks for my sweaty scalp, and it has worked wonders. The product is totally amazing! I have only one small problem, after using Drysol, my scalp has become blotchy. Can anyone recommend a lotion or cream for the discoloration of my scalp? Also, I need to know that the moisturizer won't stop the Drysol from working. Please reply ASAP!"

"Drysol worked perfectly. I'm not sure why my hands sweated so much, perhaps they were sweaty because I have really bad anxiety. Either way, Drysol stopped it. Now I don't have to worry about if my hands are sweaty when I need to shake someone's hand or avoid even shaking it. Drysol is amazing and has changed my life."
