Muse (alprostadil) "I've tried this around 8 times with limited success. Application is easy enough and what effect it had was within 10 min or so. I got a fairly soft erection that lasted about 40 minutes. It seemed to work better standing going to down to almost no effect if I lay on my back. I noticed quite an ache in the penis for a couple of hours."

Muse (alprostadil) "Tried muse and was disappointed. Very easy to apply. It caused some thickening in my penis but not hard at all. Left me with a feeling of discomfort in the shaft of my penis for about 4 hours. Have used a pump in the past with good results, guess that I will stick with this, Have tried Viagra and Cialis in the past with poor results. Great thing with the pump, a once only outlay and it works every time"

Edex Refill (alprostadil) "I've had ED for many years due to stressful marriage and hypertension, Cialis and other oral meds didn't do much for me and didn't last very long. Divorced wife and consulted urologist, he suggested Alprostadil 20 micrograms. 20 was too strong as erection lasted over 4 hours, he cut back dosage to 10 micrograms and I get erection which lasts about 2 hours, perfect for terrific sex with my girlfriend. I'm 75 and girl friend is 72, neither of us have ever had such a perfect intimate relationship. She massages my penis after the injection which increases our bonding. I was afraid to inject my penis at first but after a couple of times the anxiety went away. Wish it wasn't so expensive, would like to use more often."

"My partner used the drug after which I experienced side effects of extreme burning sensation irritation redness it felt like cuts but it was due to the side effects other medication when injected into the male the medication mix with sperm he ejaculate into the woman. It burns and it irritates the woman inside and outside, its extremely painful and causing damage to the vaginal area. Has the company started doing research into something that would neutralize that particular side effect that the partners may encounter, because it's extremely painful to the vaginal area."

Edex (alprostadil) "Edex began to work this first time in about 5 minutes. I took 10 mg and it produced the best erection I could manage with a pump, with sildinafil, or any other way. Adding 10 mg more within 20 minutes improved the rigidity a bit, but the overall erection was probably at 80% of in my youth. I feel no burning, but I do feel what feels like a pressure in my prostate. I just got a TURP and still feel the effects of that surgery a bit, since it has been 6 weeks ago. This may just be what happens with my initial dose. If 20 mg doesn't work, I'll try doubling that. 20 mg would probably suffice for insertion during sex, but I doubt if if would feel good for me or her."

"I've been using Alprostadil for about a year now due to erectile dysfunction caused by nerve damage from surgery. It took a while to get the dosage right, but after a bit I was able to deal it in. Although very effective, I have a slow reaction to it. Slow coming up (30-40 minutes) and slow going down (about 2 hours). Hence the 9 out of 10. "

Caverject (alprostadil) "Started with the dual chamber 20mcg Caverject injections. Injected two amounts ie 40mcg in total. Mixed results. Partial erection. Due to lack of manufacturing supply swapped to the single 40mcg single injection type. Use same dose as before but no errection at all just pain. Tried multiple times but no change. Pain is sometimes less but can't deduce why. Different injection methods, ensuring temperature of liquid is room temp gives no change in results. I am medically qualified."

Muse (alprostadil) "A little discomfort at 1st. Allowed more blood flow. Was hard for maybe 2 min then was like a valve turned on and it just drained away. 500 mcg version. Was a little more discomfort during play, really on the fence with this, will try a few more times, diabetic with 2 back surgery's. Last surgery took a lot of it away."

Muse (alprostadil) "Started out with 250 it worked great but the second time not as well moved up to 500 mg still not as good as the first time with the 250 Mg, for the 1000, but my mate doesn't like knowing I use anything she feels I'm not interested but Muse's the only thing working for me years ago. Yohibe work great for me but I think I overdid it."

Edex (alprostadil) "I had stage 3 prostate cancer a prostatectomy in August 2014 which resulted in severe erectile dysfunction. After a couple of attempts, I was able to inject correctly and restore my sex life. I tried every kind of oral drug without avail and basically thought my days of intimacy were gone. Edex is a miracle drug!"

"I have fought gradual neurogenic erectile dysfunction as a result of being diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis 20 years ago. Being incredibly stubborn has helped me find creative solutions to keep the equipment running at top speed until recently... Alprostadil is incredibly effective for me at 15mcg, and couldn't be simpler to inject. Creating a 110% erection for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, makes for a happy household and a great cardio workout. This 54 year old highly recommends that you get over your fear of needles and get busy living!"

"Now been using for 2 months, 24 injections into treatment. I've found that if not careful with the injection site ,it can cause pain for up to an hour and a less than satisfactory result. HOWEVER, pay close attention and inject as instructed. If not deep enough it can be painful and cause bruising. I found that 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock and close to base of penis works flawlessly. I still praise this med. Works great!"

"Cialis 5mg daily was okay for ED but not consistently brilliant results. (I'd say 1 in 5 times no success) I got 20 mcg Alprostadil as Caverject from an online doctor/pharmacy setup. What can I say. First experiment saw a good solid erection appear within 5 minutes with no sexual stimulation at all. After 15 minutes still a great erection that survived walking around and even gentle exercise. I'm sure it could have gone on but the concept was proved 100% so I relaxed one out a happy man. The injection is painless and the results amazing. I don't think I'm exaggerating to say this is gonna change my life. Even when I was 20 I didn't have a 15 minute erection I could rely on."

"First couple of times took 20mg and worked great. It lasted about five hours without any side effects. Dropped down to 10mg and the last two experiences were terrible, had an erection for seven hours without going down, after sex it was extremely painful and wouldn't go down."

Edex (alprostadil) "At 57, after trying all of the pills and having hard erections fade quickly, and unrelated to our excitement, I PLEADED with my Doctor to try Edex. A lot is made of the injection itself. NO PROBLEM! The needle is a tiny. Remember 10 and 2, avoid any visible veins, and don't over insert it. IT WAS 1000 TIMES EASIER AND LESS PAINLESS than I thought it would be. DO hold pressure on injection site for 5min as directed to avoid bruising. I used 20mcg and in 10 min had an 85% teenage erection. It was an amazing, hulk-like, towel-rack erection and stayed that way for 1 hour plus. My girlfriend "got there" eight times and was completely and fully satisfied. As for soreness... I can say my manhood, balls, stomach, and back muscles all feel like they had a "full work-out" last night... this is a wonderful tender feeling! Now looking for coupons. I want to go to work for EDEX and be their Spokesperson or Sales Manager -- This is how much I love this product."

Edex (alprostadil) "I've used Edex three times now and have had mixed results. I think my dose is not enough, I currently take 20 mcg I probably need to take more. The injections work but I need to have my dose adjusted by the doctor. There is penile pain after the shot for a couple hours but not enough to get me to stop using it."

Edex (alprostadil) "I tried the 20mg Edex with awesome results, I felt like a teenager again with a raging hard on, there was a little pain associated with the injection site but was manageable. Love the stuff, but don't love the cost."

Edex (alprostadil) "I used Viagra then Cialis and neither worked for me. Next I tried Edex. I tried 20mg and it worked marginally; barely got hard enough, 70-80% hard, and lasted 20 minutes. Tried 30,40 & 50 mg. At 50mg I got about 90% hard but for only about 20 minutes, then semi-erect (not usable) for another hour. The needle pain is insignificant, but after the erection my penis and balls ache (not badly, just annoyingly)."

Caverject (alprostadil) "I have been using this since 1993 due to inability to get an erection after a car accident broke my hip and dislocated my leg, along with bad concussion. It worked quite well during the first 10 years or so. Now, due to age I am guessing, it is a "hit or miss" with the injections. As of Jan 1st, 2018 I am no longer able to find it in my state-the only pharmacy that mixed it has discontinued doing so due to the high cost (I also had it shipped via UPS since pharmacy is a couple of hrs away). What confuses me here is that the rx that works best for me had to always be kept cold until use, and I have received it sometimes thru the years where it says not to keep cold ( and that rx never worked). So-there evidently different formulas? And as for the scar-tissue statements-yes, I too have the scar tissue with the "hard" spots, but they have not caused any pain; curvature, etc-I can feel them when I get ready to inject, and just inject beside them."

"Works wonders for me! I purchase from outside the USA otherwise, you would go broke! My insurance does not cover it. The US drug companies should be ashamed of themselves! It has never failed me. viagra and cialis did not work at all. I get approx 24 shots from 1 vial I pay $155 US dollars for 2 vials. I think it costs like $85 dollars for 1 shot if you purchase in the USA. What a joke!"

Muse (alprostadil) "Been struggling to get hold of this drug via prescription for nearly a year. I found 1000mg quite effective but it is no use if I can't get hold of it anywhere...... Chemists and Pharmacy2U say there is a 'production problem'. Manufacturers are also vague about production when I enquired. I am in the UK."

Caverject (alprostadil) "Caverject ruined my life. I loved it when I needed it , but after less than a dozen times, it ruined my penis, I now have Peyriones. My penis is bent , disfigured and shortened, it use to be nice looking, now it looks like road kill. I'm in such a dark space as over a 2/3 of length and girth has gone, I now am receiving shockwave treatment to no avail. I'm at the point of hopelessness and complete breakdown."

Caverject (alprostadil) "Being overweight caused the absence of love making for the past few years due to ED issues. I started using caverject 20mlin the past couple of months (approx 16 times) and its difficult to see what I'm doing during injection time and using a mirror as a guide is something I'm not good at and never have been. Why the medication isnt working could be that the injections are missing their target. Either I'm going to deep or not deep enough I feel. How does one know when you are in the sweet spot that it's supposed to land in?"
