For Acne "I'm a little over a month using this cream to help clear mild acne. The first few weeks were horrible. Face would sting, especially around the mouth and corner of eyes. Skin was peeling and super dry, with dry patches appearing during the day. I use it every night and, if needed, would take a night off. However, I stopped feeling them around week 3. My routine is: exfoliate face with Philosophy exfoliating wash, followed by cleansing with their face wash. I apply a vitamin C serum (Trueskin is the brand), leave to air dry for 2 minutes, then I use CeraVe daily moisturizer, applying a generous amount. Wait 5 minutes, then apply one pump of Epiduo Forte gel on cheeks and chin. My skin looks drastically clearer. Still get breakouts around cycle, but they don't last long at all."

For Acne "I have been using Epiduo Forte for about 6 weeks, and I am still stuck with my red and huge patches. My face now looks worse than before I started this cream. I am a little bit concerned since I should start seeing results in 6-8 weeks of treatment. I asked my dermatologist why, but she said I'm still purging. My gut says that it doesn't seem like a purge, though. Six months ago, I was prescribed Epiduo, and it did wonders for my skin in about 1-2 months."

For Acne "I've had stubborn acne for years and have tried so many different products. This gel hasn't totally cleared up my skin, but it has definitely improved it. At first, I piled it on problem areas like a spot treatment and didn't follow the instructions to apply a thin layer all over every night. It didn't work that way, it needs to be used consistently. When I started using it properly, my skin got dry and irritated, especially around my mouth, but it adjusted pretty quickly (I skip a night when needed). My old hyperpigmentation has started to fade a bit, and new breakouts go away faster, but it's not a miracle cure for me."

For Acne "If you’re reading this, please keep going. I purged for at least 3 months on Epiduo Forte. My skin got unbelievably bad during the purge, with breakouts all over my face. I was close to giving up. But it works, I promise. People say that you should see results after 8-12 weeks, but don’t listen to them because everyone’s skin is different. 5 (almost 6) months in, my skin’s the smoothest it’s been in a long time. Tips: I know we don't like hearing it, but eating healthier dramatically reduced the redness and irritation associated with my acne and Epiduo side effects. Specifically, foods that are anti-inflammatory—berries, greens, fish. I notice a huge difference in my skin when I eat junk or processed foods. If you’re desperate, please try it. I have naturally dry skin, so my skin was constantly red, flaky, and itchy on Epiduo. Aquaphor was a game changer! It seals in my moisturizer and Epiduo without clogging my pores. Hydrated skin heals your acne so much faster. GL!"

For Acne "I started using Epiduo 75 days ago. After one month, my face (cheeks) was full of big, painful pimples. After 40-45 days, my skin was finally pimple-free. Currently, I have acne scars, enlarged pores, and blackheads. The last but not least; it didn't burn or itch, BUT left my skin very sensitive. I fully recommend it. It does WORK!"

For Acne "I have been on this for 3 weeks, and I am not impressed. But since my dermatologist told me to try it for two months (and I've read others' reviews), I am going to stick it out. I didn't have horrible acne to begin with, but I was starting to get bad cystic ones on my cheeks, especially during my ovulation and menstrual cycle. So my doctor recommended this med. After the first week, things started to get worse! Now on week three, and I have the worst acne I have had in a long time! It is pretty embarrassing, especially considering I wasn't too bad before I started this drug. I am hopeful that things will get better, and my face will clear up and stay clear even during those cycle times. But right now it is awful!"

For Acne "I started using this product for VERY oily skin. I had occasional acne breakouts, but the constant oily skin made me feel self-conscious about my face. I am 2 months into using this product, and my skin is significantly less oily; my skin feels soft and smooth. I am experiencing a bit of purging on my chin and dryness around my nose, so I am careful to avoid putting this product around my nose. Overall, I am happy with this product and look forward to seeing how my skin looks after the purging period."

For Acne "This is my second time on Epiduo. I first started it in July of 2020. I went through the purging stage, but my face was completely clear by the time December rolled around. At that point, I was using the medication incorrectly and experienced severe burning and irritation. I decided to stop using it due to my clear complexion and the chemical burns I received. A couple of months after that, I started birth control to control my acne and hopefully keep my skin from breaking out due to having no topical in my regimen. That was a mistake. I broke out so badly while trying different birth controls over 2021. Finally, in July 2021, I had enough and went back on to Epiduo Forte. I went through some purging, but my face was 80-90% clear by October. It is now January 2022, and my face is beginning to break out once again. It could be due to fluctuating hormones, but it is beginning to take a toll on my mental health again. I'm hoping this is just the purge part two, but who knows. Wish me luck."

For Acne "On the 24th of August, I went to the dermatologist to FINALLY do something about my adult blackheads on my chin. They sent it to my door 2 days later and started that night! It’s now the 8th of September, and they are basically all gone! What they say about the side effects of redness, itching, SMALL breakouts around the affected area is true (for me). I had one more pop up, and I took care of it immediately. It does burn a tiny bit, that’s what benzoyl peroxide does! Your skin may get dry and flake (thanks to masks for covering up that) and feels dry. What they also say is true: it’ll get worse before it gets better-the redness, itching, etc. I wouldn’t recommend lathering this all over your face like my derm told me to do. I only did the affected parts! I had results in a couple of weeks! Impressive!"

For Acne "This is the second time I have been using Epiduo gel. The first time I used it, it took me nearly a month to get my skin used to the gel. Later, it worked fine, and I stopped using it. After a few years, it is the second time I am currently using it. It took nearly a month again for my skin to get used to it. My acne was moderate but bad, like tiny lumps all over my cheeks. My skin eventually went through a process of irritation, dryness, and breakouts. But then I took better care by moisturizing my face and keeping my diet healthy and face clean. I must say now it has gotten better. I'm still using it. My face is almost clear. And once it is, I will stop using it. I have handpicked hyperpigmentation because I was very rough with my skin. But hopefully, it goes away this year. I decide to not pick on my face this year."

For Acne "I'm 52, have oily skin and problems with adult pimples. My dermatologist recommended this one for my evening regimen after applying clindamycin and moisturizer. At first, my face felt dry even with the moisturizer, but later my face became used to it. I'm on my 2nd and a half month, and so far, it helps clear my pimples and my face became a bit smoother. My dermatologist said it also has an anti-aging component, so I hope I can see results on long-term use."

For Acne "I have had severe acne for most of my life, to the point where my face was always red and covered with acne. My mom took me to the dermatologist in January of 2019, and I was prescribed this. I noticed little difference the first few months, but after using it consistently for about 6 months, I noticed a significant improvement in my acne, to the point where 90% of my acne had disappeared and I only had fading scars. Since then, I've continued to use it, and I would 100% recommend it to another teenager suffering from acne. However, there are some drawbacks. My face burned almost every night after using this (especially for the first month), and my face and lips would get really dry without moisturizer. At about three or four months, my face got used to the medication and the pain lessened. However, despite the side effects, I would definitely say the improvements to my acne were worth it."

For Acne "I have been on this topical Epiduo Forte for a little over two months, and my acne has never been worse. I got on it for mild acne along with scarring. Now my face is so bad I am having to start Accutane. I have always struggled with mild acne, so my dermatologist recommended I try Epiduo before trying Accutane. My acne is now severe and bright red. My skin is irritated as well. At first, I thought it was the purging phase, but it is now well past that. If you have sensitive skin, be careful. Also, for reference, my acne is almost solely on my cheeks and mostly due to elevated levels of androgen. I was getting a few pimples a month, usually cystic. I am now waking up every day with new pimples. Fortunately, I will say the pimples are no longer cystic and shrink much faster. However, my whole face is bright red with scarring now, along with the new pimples I wake up with every morning."

For Acne "After trying and failing many antibiotics and topicals, I began to feel as if Accutane would be my only solution. After switching to a dermatologist from a doctor, she recommended I try Epiduo Forte before committing to Accutane. In all honesty, the first few weeks will be brutal. The itching and burning are next to unbearable, along with red, puffy, dry skin. My acne also got worse for the first month until about one and a half months in, when all my active pimples started to shrink and disappear. However, I was left with a nasty case of hyperpigmentation, but now, after almost 1 year of use, I am so close to completely clear skin! (Applied every night)"

For Acne "CAUTION: this topical will burn your skin if you have a sensitive skin type (or overuse!) I, unfortunately, have and did both. Please be careful with this. A little goes a long way. If you use it as a spot treatment (you really shouldn’t), it will turn that spot bright red and make it more noticeable. Listen to your derm’s instructions but also feel it out. If it burns and you start seeing MORE acne that has been caused by irritation, then stop immediately!!! Call your doctor!!! This happened to me. However, it did dry up my big cystic acne... just turned my face into the Sahara desert for a couple of weeks. Very hard to conceal that with makeup..."

For Acne "I started this topical ointment back in February. Skin takes quite a while to get acclimated. I'd say a month+ before it stops burning. I'd apply Epiduo, followed by Aquaphor, to combat the dryness, and it just seals your face up for a good 20 minutes. I peeled a lot in the beginning, but I did not purge. I notice it actually makes skin much oilier since the pores are now unclogged. If I wear moisturizer under makeup, I'm an oil slick by noon. I try to avoid moisturizer now. I still have gotten pimples and a cyst, so I'm not sure how amazing this is. Also, someone said to use this in the morning. Please don't do that."

For Acne "I have suffered with all types of acne on my face for years. Epiduo Forte really does help. Although, it takes time and patience. I’m 11 weeks into using Epiduo Forte and it’s felt like the longest rollercoaster. My acne got much worse for what felt like the whole time. Cystic acne, repeating pustules, it has been tough. However, I’m finally seeing the improvements. New acne is halting and marks are fading. I find my skin will itch when the cream is applied, but nothing unmanageable, and it’s well worth putting up with. I would visit reviews to help me through all the months of purging, so I hope this helps someone else. Almost 3 months of using Epiduo Forte and I’m feeling comfortable in my skin again. It’s worth it. If you are worried about your acne and want to improve it long term, I recommend this product, but strap in for a bumpy ride and hold yourself to at least 3 months of use before making judgments."

For Acne "I am a 21-year-old female who has suffered from mild-moderate acne since I was 15. I have never had cystic acne, but I have always consistently had pesky whitehead and blackhead breakouts. I decided to go in and get prescribed Epiduo, and I’m so glad I did. I also was prescribed 100 mg of doxy twice a day. I am now entering week 3 of both, and I finally have truly clear skin, just scars. Please keep using it, I know how hard it can be, but acne does not define your self-worth or attractiveness. The first two weeks were awful: red, dry skin, purging like crazy, but it was worth it (purge breakouts only have a lifespan of about a day as compared to normal breakouts!). I’m rooting for you!"

For Acne "I was prescribed Epiduo Forte along with an antibiotic pill to treat my severe acne. The Epiduo Forte (which is not covered by most insurances) is extremely overpriced! Thank goodness my doctor gave me a coupon to where I only paid $50. Otherwise, it would have been $588! I was on this medication along with the antibiotic for 4 months and saw very little results. I used it exactly as directed and still, I would say my acne got about 15% better. I am sorry, but 15% is not worth $588. This is price gouging at its finest. I would honestly give this medication 2 stars, that's about it."

For Acne "I love this stuff! Been using Epiduo Forte for my oily skin for years!! It works so well! The first few months made my acne worse, but so worth the results! Now I only get about one pimple a month, and this stuff will get rid of it overnight! Best stuff ever!! It works well for the CeraVe lotion and face wash! Love it! Just make sure you stop using it a week before getting your eyebrows waxed because it will remove some skin. I had that happen twice, not painful other than during it. If you stop using it for a week prior, you’ll be fine. The stuff works fantastic! Recommend!"

For Acne "I went to the dermatologist, and this is what I was put on. Within the first two weeks, I noticed my acne really clearing up. After that, my acne just went downhill, bigger pimples started occurring, and I still have not seen a difference, only my face getting worse."

For Acne "I have been using Epiduo Forte for four months now, and it has completely transformed my skin! I suffer from hormonal acne, which still appears on my chin from time to time. However, Epiduo quickly resolves these hormonal pimples. My forehead is now clear of acne, and my right cheek looks amazing. Although my left cheek still has some red spots from old acne, it is slowly getting better. The overall texture of my skin has greatly improved, and all of my dark spots (and I had a lot) are now gone. My advice for anyone using Epiduo is to keep your skin hydrated and use a lot of moisturizers. Do not skip applying Epiduo. I am writing this review because I also read reviews when I first started my treatment, and I hope this helps someone else. I can't wait to see my skin fully treated, and I am confident it will be soon."

For Acne "I have currently been using this cream for 3 months, but had to stop my treatment yesterday. Before I started using this, I had inflamed cystic acne on the sides of my cheeks. When I started using this cream (every other night on top of moisturizer), I noticed that it would flatten any cystic acne I had in a very short time. Around 1-2 weeks ago, I noticed that this topical cream stopped having the same effect on my skin. Not only was my skin dry and extremely sensitive from my course of treatment, but the cream no longer had any effect on my acne. If anything, it began making it worse. Personally, I would not recommend Tactupump Forte, as I believe it is too harsh on the skin."

For Acne "On 2.5%, brand name. I finally cleared up my deep underground cystic acne on my chin with this. 10 yrs of agony fixed in 3-4 months! WONDER DRUG! It's worth the cost, even without insurance. A little goes a long way. I use it every other day at night and sometimes also in the morning around my period. If I ever start getting a little zit or feel something coming on, I combine this with a tiny dab of clindamycin overnight, and it stops anything in its tracks. It takes a little bit of time to start working, but once it does -- MAGIC! I'm so happy. Nothing else worked for me, even giving up dairy, gluten, etc. My diet has always been SUPER clean and my hormones have been regulated for 10 yrs, so those weren't the issues. I'm very healthy - no issues except acne. I've never been on the Pill - I tried it for 3 months and it made me nuts. I think my cystic acne was caused by an issue that was skin-level, and Epiduo Forte fixed it. I use either skinmedica or dermalogica products."
