Tylenol with Codeine #3 (acetaminophen / codeine) "I take 4 or 5 Tylenol # 3's per day. Seems to work for my neck and shoulder at about a factor of 80%. Also helps a bit with being bummed out and also with minor depression. Hope this helps. P.S. I like this better than Vicodin. Vicodin gives me a headache, for some reason. "

Tylenol with Codeine #3 (acetaminophen / codeine) "It does take the edge off the pain. Taken every 6 hours, the effects weaken and pain returns after 6-5 hours. Side effects can be dizziness so do not operate a vehicle, etc. another side effect can be constipation if taken for more than several days. An OTC stool softener is recommended by my doctor."

Tylenol with Codeine #3 (acetaminophen / codeine) "Took Tylenol 3 for osteoarthritis for 2 years and it worked great usually took only 1 tablet before bed to take the edge off the pain for my osteoarthritis. My doctor took me off of it recently but nothing has worked as good."

Tylenol with Codeine #4 (acetaminophen / codeine) "Have been on these pain meds for 25 years, name brand McNeil. Take one with every meal and at bed time. When I moved from California to Georgia they started me on the generic ones. They do not help with the pain I suffer everyday, and it does a number on upsetting my stomach an causing breakthrough migraines that I suffer from due to the lesion to my right temporal lobe. I pray to God that physicians will stop pushing generics as good as name brand ones, when they are not."

Tylenol with Codeine #3 (acetaminophen / codeine) "I have had two hip replacements, one being 13 years ago, the other 7. Excruciating pain occurs in my SI every now and then, of course when one over does it. T3's are the most reliable relief, two extra strength tylenols don't even touch the discomfort and pain intensity. Whereas, with one T3, I can actually perform daily tasks. I do not usually use it for more than two days in a row.. and usually many months apart. I have positive results and they work so well."

Tylenol with Codeine #3 (acetaminophen / codeine) "I have many health conditions and I take two tylenol 3 three or four times per day. I have for over 2 years as well as many meds in my blister pack. Unfortunately the Tylenol 3 is not releasing and help for my pain. My pain is worse on rainy damp days."

Tylenol with Codeine (acetaminophen / codeine) "I'm 78 and have osteoporosis. I've had fractured legs, lower back, my spine is messed up from a rear-end accident. I've been taking this medication off and on for several years. It's not used every day. Yes, it does cause constipation and I use OTC stool softeners to help. I have no strength and working with rehab to help get my strength back. Some days my pain is worse than others. I also have Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 7.5-325 when my pain is worse. However, I do not mix pain medication in the same 24-hour period. I'm going to ask my doctor about this because I have noticed a memory issue. I don't have Alzheimer's, but brain fog is a good description. I'll be talking to my sister and go to say something and can't think of the word or name I want. It usually comes, but I feel I struggle for it. As far as alcohol, it has been out of my life for over 10 years. I can give a rating for both; they both help deal with the pain. However, I just thought about it, and that's how I came upon this to leave a remark."

Tylenol with Codeine #4 (acetaminophen / codeine) "I was on norco for years. Helped my pain. Then our wonderful government DEA starts to threaten our doctors and now I'm on T4 and it absolutely does nothing for my pain. I'm tired of this rubbish! Drug abusers have nothing to do with responsible people who need pain relief! When I pick up my meds I feel like I am a criminal!!!"
