Safe Sleeping for Infants

Infants should be placed in safe surroundings to decrease the risk of accidental death. Death from suffocation, strangulation, or sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) can occur in certain sleeping situations. You can help keep your baby safe by learning how to safely put your baby to sleep. Share this information with grandparents, babysitters, and anyone else who cares for your baby.
