The answer is dependent upon your state. Please check their guidelines as to what medications they will allow CDL drivers to have in their system.
If all of your medications have been prescribed by a physician your drug screen will be interpreted as being negative. However, just as Pilots are not allowed to have any controlled substances in their urine, prescribed or not, your state might follow similar practice.
Also check with your doctor for his/her guidance.

I was prescribed xanax,1mg and prozac by a doctor, due to generalized anxiety disorder. I am also a CDL class B holder,a school bus driver..I only take xanax in the evenings, not on my shift... Though I am worried a M.E will immediately disqualify me when I get my physicals... My employer knows about my prescriptions, but says if they don't ask for your meds, don't tell them... But on the sheet you feel out,it sometimes says,"List all medications you are on",which in my case it would be xanax,in the evenings, and prozac, neither of which affect my ability to operate a motor vehicle in Pennsylvania... I worked hard to get my CDL,but the anti anxiety meds really help me...
