I'd rather use something else instead of the water, with my Suprep. Has anyone tried anything else with this?

What do you mix in lieu of water, with your Suprep? I have a colonoscopy scheduled for August 13,?

After agonizing through the 1st dose, I added 2 packets of Crystal Light Lemon to the concoction! It was way easier to get down this time. I chased it with sips of Sprite for the 2nd dose and sucked on an ice cube to numb the taste buds both times. Hope all goes well. You’ve got this!

I used “cold” ginger ale, it was ok, better than water.

Second time I've used this prep and ice cold lemonade without pulp is the best way to drink it. I also used a straw.

I had my colonoscopy Aug. 13th and I decided to use one packed of Crystal Light in mine. It wasn't bad and the Suprep was gentle on my system. I used a straw too. It cleaned me out quickly, on the first dose. I never could drink the two, 16 oz. bottles of water with it. Just too much to drink. I just did the one dose of Suprep and then at 1:30 a.m., I had my 2nd doze and couldn't finish it. Drank most of it, but about 1" left in glass. I couldn't drink water then either. Thankfully, my procedure went well. I was cleaned out good and they found no polyps. Whew! :-)

I'm taking mine in a shot glass, because it's easier to down shots. I'm also chasing it with citrus soda, which is pulp-free and coloring-free. Sour things and carbonation help cut the taste, so I recommend soda, maybe even with added lime juice. This is the only way I find Suprep to be palatable. Good luck!

Hi newwavepony, thanks for the advice. I had not thought of using a shot glass. I'm going to be using a straw and breathing through my mouth. I'm also going to put mine (just for a little while), in the freezer. And definitely not drinking out of the container it comes with. But I love the shot glass idea. I may try putting Ginger Ale or Sprite, in with my first dose. Thanks again for commenting, and good luck to you too!

…... and I just read on the internet where a doctor said the prep did not need to be gulped or drank fast. He said to drink it slowly, over 30 minutes, so that's good. I'm definitely not a gulper!
