Can you tell me why the doctor only prescribes 4 tablets of viagra per month of 50mg?

It could be that your insurance only covers 4 per month. I've seen other people restricted to 8. Insurance sees it as a lifestyle drug rather than an essential medication. Given the cost, insurance companies don't like paying out too much.
