I have just been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis and the doc wants me to take Humira. I can't afford this drug! How do others afford it?

Have you tried copay assist programs? Go to Abbvie they may be able to help. I have to pay upfront but as soon as I receive it I take pic of the package and send them a copy of the receipt and within 24 hrs I’m reimbursed.
Also see https://www.drugs.com/price-guide/humira for details on the Humira Protection Plan - reduce copay to $5 or less a month.
I was just prescribed Humira.. Someone from the company called me and I was told my insurance covers 80% am responsible for 20%. Which would of been $600 a month..then he tells me Humira has a discount program..my copay is
$5. A month!
My husband has Crohns Disease and has been on Humira for a few months through his Cobra insurance. He has been on disability for the past year and is eligible for now for medicare. We are just screwed. They say we make too much for any assistance. What a joke. What is a person supposed to do?
The manufacturer has assistance. Go to www.humira.com and click on what you can save and you'll find it.
Not if you are on Medicare. I have been on Humira for years and just turned 65... Shock..no more assistance. My $5 copay is now $1600 a month.
