Clear or white vaginal discharges are normal and help to keep your vagina moist and comfortable. When it dries on your underwear it looks yellow and has a slight smell. A discharge is not normal when it smells unpleasant or changes colour.
A yellow or green discharge, especially when it’s thick, chunky, or accompanied by an unpleasant smell, isn’t normal. This type of discharge may be a sign of the infection trichomoniasis. It’s commonly spread through sexual intercourse.
At this point your doctor is the best person to give you an accurate diagnosis.
