I recently had 2 DVT's and 2 PE's. The doctor put me on Xarelto. I would like to know thebest option to hydrate my skin that won't interact?
While on Xarelto is it safe to take cod liver oil and coconut oil?

There's a big difference in using Coconut Oil or Cod Liver Oil in recipes and taking either of them orally for medicinal purposes. For instance, a family member who it taking 20 mg Xarelto was told NOT to take Vit E, Fish Oil or any multi-vitamin/supplement which has more than 40 mg of Vit E. Suggest you check with a physician before you use either oil if you are taking any blood thinner.
Hi kileamo95. If you want to hydrate your skin you should use a good moisturizer on the skin. Cod liver oil caps contain Vit E (anti-oxidant) and is good for health. Unrefined Coconut oil can be applied on the skin half-hour before a shower to make the skin soft. The consumption of Xarelto and use of the two oils are not related.
Do remember to consume lots of water when on Xarelto. Also avoid alcohol and wines.
I disagree your comment regarding liquor. You can consume no more than 2 drinks daily (1 beer, 8 oz. wine, 2 mixed drinks w/1 oz. liquor in each). However, if you consume liquor on a daily basis, you should check with your physician.
