Ramipril - Will it cause weight gain?

Answers

Inactive 15 June 2009

A known side effect of ramipril is rapid weight gain.
See: https://www.drugs.com/ramipril.html

However the amount of weight gained will vary from person to person and on the dose of ramipril being taken.

My doctor prescribed Ramipril, he started me at 10 mg, I have been on Ramipril about 12 days and gained 5 lbs, I have a constant cough, and I now have morning headaches, my blood pressure is staying down but I have migraines when I wake up, this is definitely not what I wanted, these pills are going straight in the trash
