The slower you dissolve the pill, the more you will absorb under your tongue and YES, you can spit the dregs out. Try to wait at least 10 minutes, if you break the pill into fourths, wait at least 5 minutes. if your mouth gets filled with saliva, you can swallow a small amount to make it more comfortable for you.
.
Thanks to both of you. I really appreciate the help.
I would recommend talking one pill in the morning and one at night. Sometimes people have a hard time keeping the pill under their tongue. I would suggest trying your best to keep it below your tongue and let the saliva slowly rise above your tongue on the sides. You will taste the Suboxone flavor but you will still get the dose needed as this is what happens with everyone. It's also recommended that you wash your mouth out with pure water and flush is around then spit it out before taking the Suboxone. I hope this helps. It's a weird way to deliver medication but it works great! Hope this helps! Good luck to you!
Thanks... Can I spit the the orange colored saliva out that rises above the tounge after the tablet dissolves?
Also, I read that some people crush it up then place it under their tounge..is that wrong to do?
No you can crush it up. I would recommend cutting it in fourths instead of crushing it. I would recommend swallowing the medication although you don't have to do this. I only do it because some of the medication can be absorbed in the stomach (Not very much though). So if you take 1/4 of a pill under your tongue one at a time it should make it a lot easier. Yes you can wash your mouth out after they have dissolved. If you taking it for addiction it's the right medication. If your taking it for pain I would recommend taking Subutex. There's a generic Subutex available today. Just an FYI. I hope this helps. Feel free to ask anything else you need help with. I hope it helps. Good luck!
Don't swallow the pill, I meant swallowing the dissolved medications. Sorry if I confused you.
