What are the side effects of decreasing 50mg to 40mg of fluoxetine?

Chances are you won’t have any problems but you could experience some mild adjustment symptoms. Anxiety, headache, and nausea are common but temporary.
You may also find it somewhat less effective. Why are you reducing your dose?
