Ask your doctor if you can get a script for Gabapentin. If is an off label use and works well for. TLS.
I find taking 1mg of Mirapex before I go to bed, 50mg of hydroxyzine a.m. 50mg in the afternoon, and 50 mg before I go to bed and 0.5mg to 1mg of diazepam before I go to bed works wonders for me. I can actually sleep through the night.
Hydroxyzine is not addictive and depending on your needs the dosage can be increased or decreased in increments of 25mg.
I usually only take .5mg of diazepam which really helps relax my legs. Sometimes under the order of my doctor I take 1mg of diazepam if I've had a particularly rough day and I'm having severe muscle spasms. I've tried just about every muscle spasm medication on the market including OTC and the only thing that works for me is diazepam.
My RLS has also caused my anxiety to increase significantly so the Hydroxyzine helps that a lot, along with helping the need to keep moving my legs.
Talk to your doctor about it and see what they say. My first go-to would be the MIRAPEX 1mg.
I combine my Ropinirole with tizanidine, muscle relaxers. Periodically you may have to ask your Dr to increase your dose of the Ropinirole if your body is becoming too accustomed to your current dose. Plus I've learned a series of stretching exercises for my calves and thigh muscles that seem to help some also. You can find these on YouTube pretty easily. I hope this helps!
