I have a prescription for Penicillin VK 500 mg from 10/14/15 for strep throat. I stopped taking it after 3 days due to feeling nauseous. Is it still potent to use now for strep throat again?

The manufacturer cannot guarantee the effectiveness of a drug once it is past the expiry date.
