What is the proper way to stop taking Estradiol 2mg dosage?

Contrary to what some people believe there is no advantage of stopping estradiol suddenly or gradually reducing your dosage. If you were taking it for menopausal symptoms the symptoms may return once your estrogen levels have fallen sufficiently regardless of how you stopped your medication.
Your doctor may have a preferred method of stopping.
