When I was septic mine was 39,000. I had to airlifted to Dallas then, about lost my life. I don't remember anything till 3 days later and woke up in ICU! Be careful anytime it's elevated!
when i had surgery in july it was almost postponed because my count was up to 13,000 and the doctor told me it should be around 7,000.doctor said my body was trying to fight off a infection .had surgery after new blood test showed my count was back to normal .but the week after surgery i was readmitted to the hospital with a w/blood count of 14,000 and a fever of 102.9 treated for infection and sent home ,still having problems (pain) from this surgery !just a herina repair w/scar tissue from past surgeries removed !
hope i was of some help thanks for sharing good luck!
The normal range for WBC count is 4,300 to 10,800 cells per cubic millimeter (cmm) or 4.3 to 10.8 x 109 cells per liter.
However, it would be best to check it with a doc/pharmacist, take care, be well & safe.
i think they said mine is 14.000 is that very high
Perhaps, I would recommend that you seek medical advice, take care.
