What happens if I cut an Ambien CR in half( I know you do not recommmend this)?

It just releases the medication faster... sometimes anyway... my doctor tells me to break my seroquel and ambien in half to get to work a little faster... I can tell a difference sometimes and sometimes I can't so it just depends. As long as it isn't in a capsule you should be fine.
