Vitamin B12 - What is the difference between dissolving B-12 pill in my mouth or swallowing whole?

I was once told that dissolving under the tongue the body absorbs it better.

B-12 is absorbed better going right into your blood stream and that is what putting it under your tongue does. If you swallow it it is acted upon by stomach acid and you won't get as much of it.
