Vaginal bleeding after taking Adderall?

I never had a problem with vaginal bleeding until my pcp added Adderall to my ADHD treatment. I started having spotting 5 days into taking Adderall on a daily basis after just having my period. I have elected to go off Adderall and let my body reset itself.

Hi I've been taking Adderall for about 6 months and any time I have sex I bleed. A LOT. Even with lube and stimulation before and during. Its been happening every time we try now. I recently waited a week to see if it was just an injury. But its not. Most vaginal tears will heal within 2 or 3 days. Im also experiencing abdominal pain and this morning I am still spotting with some dark red blood. There has also been a change of smell in my discharge. Also im not on birth control but I am on effexxor and SSRI antidepressant. Im going to make an OB GYN appointment for this today. I will update you guys on how it goes.

Im the same boat I have PCOS and I believe adderall triggers vaginal bleeding. I already had my period this month.

I cant find anywhere that says this is a side effect, but it is for me! I have been on adderall for over a year during which I spotted but never used to. I thought it was my endometriosis. As soon as I stopped the medication I stopped spotting within a week. I just recently got back on adderall and the spotting started back up again. You're not alone in this.

It has been a while since you have posted this question i sure do hope you have found the answer to this sooner than that. No it does not cause vaginal bleeding this is definantly something else.
