So I'm 19 and I got the Implanon 8:30am in September 24th. I had sex around 1:00pm on Monday the 30th of September. I didn't have my period when I got the Implanon. The doctor said I could have sex 7 days after the Implant. Even though I had sex day 6 I should be fine right? Just making sure thanks :)
I had unprotected sex on day 6 on the Implanon insertion?

This exact thing happen to me except I took a Plan B about an hour and a half after me and my partner had unprotected sex and he "finished" inside me. I ended up not being pregnant but, during the time I was waiting on my period, I was having pregnancy like symptoms;(tiredness, nausea, dizziness, cravings, frequent urination, super smell, mood swings, etc.) if this happens, DO NOT FREAK OUT! Stress will just make your period even more late and cause you unessasary paranoia. I hope this helps! Best of luck!

The doctor wasn't suggesting 7 days as a number he pulled out of thin air. That is how long it has been determined you need until the implant is sure to be effective. Its not some negotiable number. Its not known if its protecting you on day 6. You couldn't wait one more day for unprotected sex?

I'm sure I'm fine. I'm pretty sure 1 day won't hurt I got the dates wrong on my calendar. :)

Thank you! :) Sorry I should explain myself better I'm all new to this birth control when I got my Implant I accidentally put it on the wrong date on my calendar only by one day and I do know my doctor already explain I was just asking even by 1 day I should be fine? :)
