I noticed for several years a decrease in allergy symptoms from 50 of tramadol my sneezing and itching eyes and cough are much better. It works at least as well as a chlorpbeniramine, dipheniramine or Zyrtec and is non sedating.

Hello Rhinitis. You might be on to something. Did some reading and found nothing to suggest it helps the allergy. Having said that, its a good thing that its helping you. The FDA is always interested in comments to any given drug. you might link up to thier site and drop your thoughts, opinion to them. Have a goodday, appreciate the news,.pledge
maybe it just helps the over reactive nasal mucosa through the mu receptors. it is a rather rapid onset of action and stops the sneezing quickly. in looking at the mode of actions, tramadol has no real antihistamine effect. so this is some other action. thanks
True, I understand your point. Have a good evening, pledge
Delila, the Tramadol is rarely used. Maybe once a week. It relieves symptoms. It does not cause symptoms. Thank you
Thanks. It is effective for halting sneezing. My reading also leads to it having no antihistamine properties.
Hi
I’m experiencing the same results with Tramadol. It stops my post nasal drip almost instantly and I sleep comfortably throughout the night. This post is from 2012, I wonder if there is some new research on this topic.
