Did you're dr tell you to stop it? You don't taper off it. Its not a drug that causes a dependence. However if you were supposed to stop it the dr would have told you what to do. This isn't a drug you stop on your own.
Yes you should taper off the losartan if your doctor told you to stop taking it. Even though it doesn’t cause dependence, stopping cold turkey can cause your blood pressure to spike.
