What would cause stomach pain after eating?

What could be medically wrong if your stomach hurts after eating? I was told it could be an ulcer but haven't been back to a doctor to be confirmed. The problem has persisted for a year off and on. I also get nauseous, vomit, and severely fatigued.

Can meloxicam be taken long term?

I have a history of gastric ulcers. I have bilateral plantar fasciitis and arthritis in my hand. The meloxicam seems to help my pain after taking for 30 days. I am concerned if there are any effects if used long term as maintenance drug.
