Effective medication for insomnia?
I've been on a dose of 200mg of amitriptyline for a very long time (originally prescribed for depression). Now that I'm older I need to reduce the dosage. First gabapentin pill in the morning puts me to sleep for the day?
I started gabapentin for disc problems. Taking 400 mg 3 times a day. In the morning the first gabapentin ill puts me back to sleep for the whole day. Then the 2nd, and 3rd gabapentin dose does not seem to put me to sleep. Has any one else had this problem? How did you solve this problem?
