Is Lortab the same as Norco?

I was prescribed hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5 or 10/325 for years. It was initially called Norco but I recently noticed the subtext says Lortab. Are they the same thing? Why different names then?

I have been prescribed Hiprex twice a day for 3 months. Once this is finished is it OK to continue taking one tablet a day for maintenance?
