I read in an article that peop;e with with high blood pressure should not take metformin because it will cause it to become higher and does not interact well with the blood pressure meds, also in rare occassion it can cause the blood sugar to raise. Is this true?

Can I eat grapefruit while taking Amlodipine daily?

I take 10 mg of Amlodipine once daily in the morning, I understand grapefruit and beta blockers do not "get along". But Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker, so am I okay to eat grapefruit or should I avoid it?
