Lexapro and Buspar - are they safe?

My doctor has prescribed Lexapro and buspirone for me. Has anyone taken these together? I've never been on any medications like these but my husband has dementia and I'm his only caregiver and I can't seem to sleep from not being able to turn my mind off and relax.Thanks!
