Patient is currently taking lamotrigine, Seroquel (quetiapine) and gabapentin for Bipolar 1 and anxiety attacks due to PTSD. Would like to take Nurtec for migraines. This web site warns against taking 4 medications that affect the Central Nervous System. Thanks for any help.
Luvox and alcohol...occasional use?
I know I have read that Luvox does not increase the central nervous system side effects when mixed with alcohol. Is it truly safe to have a few drinks maybe once a week while taking this? Serotonin syndrome is what scares me.
How can I maintain sodium levels while taking desmopressin for partial central diabetes insipidus?
I am currently passing up to nearly 5 pints of urine at night, and my endocrinologist only suggests desmopressin as the drug to help.
